Dr. Kevin Roy Kopesky, MD

He refused to give me pain meds after my surgery leaving me in the hospital for extra day because of the pain. He told the nurses not to give me anything.

i have had 2 hernia surgeries and 1 gallbladder surgery with this doctor and since i have had surgery done i have had nothing but problems with my stomach and he will not let me come in to see him and see what is wrong with my stomach, he would rather have me to see my family doctor who didnt do the surgery, now i am dropping him as a doctor and go see another doctor to get a 2nd opinion about whats going on with my stomach.

Dr. Kopesky is as very very good surgeon. Very friendly and informative. I recommend him very highly.

I was concerned about Dr. Kopesky after reading other reviews but my experience proved different. He was professional with some personal touches, made sure I understood what was going to happen, & I was comfortable with him. He even took extra time with me to ask about my job. I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Kopesky to anyone who needs gallbladder surgery.

Seemed rushed at initial appointment, was unavailable before or after the surgery...I never did see him at all, was over an hour late showing up for the actual surgery. I felt I was sent home too soon after the surgery,he was extremely unprofessional at follow-up and was told to seek medical follow-up elsewhere when I voiced my concerns/complaints. I wish I had went elsewhere for my procedure from the beginning. At this point, all I can do is try to warn others. This person made it very clear that he does not care about his patients....least not this patient. I cannot express enough how rudely I was treated. Also the nurse who called 5 days after my surgery seemed inexperienced and was unable to answer my questions. Save yourself and find a different doctor/surgeon. This was by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor in over 50 years on the planet.

After reading the other reviews, I am ultimately confused. I'm guessing these people either didn't see Dr. Kopesky, or they expected much more than what a doctor can provide (doctors are trained professionals, not God)! What I liked most about Dr. Kopesky is that he made me feel comfortable. I could tell he knew what he was talking about and he actually wanted to help me understand everything clearly. I would recommend him with great confidence.

I had hernia surgery by doctor Kopesky and he was wonderful with me,,, He is an excellent surgeon, very good beside manners and did excellent work with my surgery,,, I HAD no complications and went home the same day,,,, , He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable ... He also did a gallbladder surgery on my aunt and she was very happy with him, all went well with her too.THANK YOU DOCTOR KOPESKY!!!!!!!!

My wife went in for emergency gallbladder surgery. We were in the ER at 12:30 am and admitted to the hospital with the surgery to be scheduled later that day. It was scheduled for 5:30 pm and she was taken back at 6:30pm. She came back out of the recovery room at approximately 9:30 pm and was to be released when she could urinate. She could not urinate and at approx. 12:15am, yes AM the next morning, she still could not urinate and the nurse taking care of her was asked by me to call the doctor to see if she could stay overnight and then come home the next day, or I should say later THAT day since it was already the start of the next morning. He told the nurse that my wife needed to urinate and then she would be discharged. At approx. 12:45, they told me they would just straight cath her and she could go home. We live approximately an hour away, so we got home at about 2:10 am. She tried to lay down in bed, but the pain was too intense, so she sat in a recliner. Around 6:00am,… she was screaming with pain and woke me up and she needed to go back to the ER. She thought it was just because she still couldn't urinate on her own, but then we found out that the pain was because she had lost approximately 2 units of blood internally and her pain was through the roof!!!! She was then admitted AGAIN and transported by ambulance BACK to the hospital where she was ordered to be discharged by Mr. Kopesky. She spent two more days in the hospital to get the pain under control and get her body functions back to normal. I will never let any of my family members EVER to be touched by this so called "doctor". He is a disgrace to the medical profession.

He treated me like my questions did not matter and talked down to me. He did not follow threw on anything he said he would and failed to add my daily medication to my chart.
