I highly recommend Dr McCarthy for orthopedic surgery!! He has performed 2 surgeries on me, a total hip replacement and foot surgery on my left foot. Out of 5 stars, I give Dr McCarthy 10 Stars! After hip surgery I was walking with a walker that night! After foot surgery, I was walking that day! I absolutely had no pain after each surgery and did not require any pain meds, none. His nurses and staff are excellent as well. I have nothing to say but great things about him and overall staff. Definitely the BEST hands to be in for surgery, care, and bedside manner.

Dr. McCarthy performed a complete right hip replacement surgery on me with 100% success. From my x-rays and my lack of ability to walk without assistance, it was evident I put off surgery for too long. After surgery, I only had minor discomfort and used no pain meds. Dr. McCarthy, his staff and St. Elizabeth Hospital staff were all exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr. Kevin McCarthy to anyone needing hip surgery.

I had emergency surgery performed by Dr. Mccarthy. From day one, I felt comfortable with the attention and care he has provided. I would recommend Dr. Mccarthy without hesitation.

Referred by ED doctor for surgical consult for broken left ankle. His nurse took my splint off, he came in, never reordered xrays and didn't even look at the ones from the ED. He put me in a walking boot without a idea of plan of care for me, his patient, and said no weight bearing and by the time he took me out of the boot my ankle couldn't bear weight and there was no range of motion. I spent the next 10 weeks in therapy three times a week. I now have horrible foot and ankle pain that resulted from poor care. I do not recommend this doctor.
