I have been going to Dr. McKechnie for about 4 years. He is patient, listens, and explains simply what is going on and what the next steps are. The Frist Clinic is well run; the staff is courteous and goes beyond to make things run smoothly.

Dr. McKechnie is a wonderful doctor. I trust and respect his professional care. He is specific, detailed and honest regarding my healthcare needs. He's also very encouraging and notices and commends any progress noted. I feel he is truly interested in me as a person and this encourages me to listen and work with him towards the healthiest and best lifestyle possible. I have been a patient of Dr. McKechnie's since 2003 (the only Dr. I've had as an adult). I feel confident that he's been thorough with my healthcare, & when I've needed to be referred for specific conditions, he was quick to recommend specialists who were as fantastic as he has been.

Dr. McKechnie is a great listener and he isn't quick to prescribe meds. I've been his patient for over 10 years and trust his judgment. If I request a specific test to satisfy my personal concerns, he complies.

This is how medicine is supposed to be practiced. As of four years ago, I now live in another state but reflect often on the quality doctor AND quality of man with whom I dealt in this person. When we left Nashville, he gave us the name of another superb doctor in Augusta, GA, from whence he came in training. ALL has been five star in ever regard. He is to be appreciated as a doctor; he is to be admired as a man.
