Dr. Kevin Gerard Murphy

Doctor Murphy has been taking care of me and my children for over 20 years now he even takes care of my granddaughter. Hes very attentive, kind and always follows up on test results. There has never been a problem with his office.

He is ill informed, does not follow up after blood work, MRIs, etc. You have to leave message after message and he never returns calls. He takes A LOT of vacations! Leaves the patient with little advanced knowledge about his/her condition and his follow up is non existent. You get the feeling he is just going through the motions until his next vacation. A disgrace!

My family and I have been patients of Dr Murphy for 20 years. He's treated my three children from infancy to adulthood, myself, my mother and even continues to treat my grandmother who is now 101 years old. With my family, the needs reach from one end of the spectrum to the other, and in it's truest sense, Dr Kevin completely envelopes FAMILY medicine. The level of knowledge, care and attentiveness he provides is unparalleled and in 20 years, have yet to encounter a problem or short coming of any kind.

The tamla pills were wonky. I trusted Kev. Does not keep in good formation or all together there.

Dr. Murphy has taken care of both of my children. He is the best doctor. My daughter loved his care and professionalism as well. He is sweet, thorough, and intelligent. Thank you Dr. Murphy! Forever in our hearts!

This doctor is verbally abusive

The absolute worst individual one could encounter...regardless if he is a physician or not. No manners. Rude. Disgruntled. Should never see adult patients let alone children.

I was instructed to follow-up with Dr. Murphy in a few days. When I called, the office assistant told me that he would be call me back no later than the end of the day. I never received a return call. I made another attempt and called 2 days later. The person I spoke to was rude. She insisted that I call back later because 2 people just walked in the office. Talk about patient priority. I understand that their office maybe busy but I have been waiting for 2-3 days to speak with the doctor. I have decided to switch doctors. I am not receiving proper attention, care and treatment. I do not know how to proceed with my treatment. I was supposed to provide progress reports before taking a prescription that was provided to me in advance.

The best doctor i have been to in chicago,if i was still living in chicago ,i would still be going to see Kevin G. Murphy as my doctor .

Havent been able to get ahold of the doctor for sevral days. Apparently he does not like returning phone calls.
