Dr. Sloan's training and experience with treating addiction provides him with the tools to support families who are struggling to get help for loved ones who are struggling with opiate use disorder.

Finally got brave enough to make a call for help. He asked why I needed a psychiatrist. Said he didn't have his calendar set up and to call next year if I hadn't found someone. Wow. Didn't ask if I needed a resource number or offer to give me someone to call. What if I was in serious crisis. Don't waste your time. Very cold.

I meant Dr Sloan at a very low time in my life. I had no hope and he always stepped in when needed. As I look back over my life I would have been dead if not for him. He never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself. Thank you for my life!

Dr Sloan has such a kind and gentle way of helping me sort out my life . He has a terrific sense of humor; I leave every appointment feeling renewed and more positive.

This guy truly has no class. Bills the family of his patient that committed suicide under his care for past due balances. I hope others wont put their loved ones in his care. While the family were making funeral arrangements they also had to pay off his bill.

I know he listens to me the entire time; I feel like he has my back. At every appointment he doesn't spend the entire time looking at his notes from the previous visit, has a wonderful sense of humor and I feel like he truly cares. He spent many many years working with US veterans; he's not in his profession for the money. Super.

I was an absolute mess when I first came to Dr. Sloan. He was never judgemental and always encouraged me to do my best. I have done a total 180 and have a life now that I am so proud of. He is a wonderful Dr. :)

I have seen many psychiatrists in my 29 years, and Dr. Sloan has been by far the best. He listens, I feel completely comfortable talking to him about anything, he is very understanding when I call him after hours or on the weekends, and always gets back to me right away. I never feel like he is treating me like an "addict". He treats me like a human being, with respect and dignity. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Sloan is the first doctor to correctly diagnose my condition and he is putting great effort into helping me get better. He always spends ample time discussing my concerns; I really feel like he is listening to me and cares about what I am saying and how I am doing. A bonus: he has a great sense of humor.
