Dr. Kevin Chunkit Yee, MD

Dr. Yee has been my doctor for many years. He's always on time, is fimiliar with my chart, and his advise is very helpful.

He comes in takes care of your problem, then goes out. He doesn't order tests by request - he has to think it has to benefit you otherwise he will decline. Professional but dry.

Would not order tests or refer to specialists despite repeated requests. Has no sense of compassion. Comes in and types on his laptop and then takes off...in between, he may have a couple apps to share with you.....his attitude is almost dismissive!

Completely missed diagnosis. Would not order scans, despite my pleas. A cancer that could have been caught in early stage was NOT.

Dr. Yee has been my physician for many years. Affable guy and answers all my questions about my health and choices.

I was new to the area and was referred to Dr. Yee by a friend of my brother. The personal touch isn't so important to me, and given the convenience, I made an appointment at Yee's office. Initially I was satisfied. I didn't mind the long wait times for my appointments; my primary concern was medical competence and as long as they gave me sound medical guidance, I was fine.As I said before, I'm pretty tolerant of "inconvenience" so I didn't list all the details about "scheduling errors" that no one in the office cared about or being given outright wrong information about my appointment times. There was several instances of these issues as well.I expect my doctor to read my chart. I expect my doctor to give me sound recommendations and to be able to explain the medical reason for those recommendations. Now, I'm looking for a new doctor. They operate this office like a business, and it's incredibly impersonal. When I went, I had to wait forever for my appointment, and when I… finally did get called back, the room wasn't ready, so I had to wait in some random blood-drawing area while the nurse, who was incredibly rude, went off to go gossip. I was there for at least 10 minutes, and when I asked the nurse about the room, she was just rude. A horrible, horrible place - you don't want that kind of service
