He is condescending. Walk out feeling worse about myself.

I have seen this doctor once and will never go back. I was told at our first visit that, since I had been stable on my current medication for 10 years that I didn't need to see him for a year. Yet when my 3 month supply ran out and I couldn't figure out why my rx wasn't being filled, i called the office and was told that i needed to see him for any more refills. I then received a very critical phone call from Dr. Iskendarian who claimed he would never say that i could go for a year and that he requires a 1 month then 2 month then 3 month visit before allowing refills, although my first refill was for 3 months? When I questioned the discrepancy in his authorization at our first visit, he became angry and belittling, telling me i had 2 minutes to make up my mind if i was going to see him again or be discharged with a 1 month supply and not be given the opportunity to see any other doctors in their practice. When i asked him to transfer me to the front desk, he barked "no, I am not… going to transfer you, I am going to hang up and have them call you back," and then he hung up on me. What type of doctor acts this way to patients, especially a psychiatrist? His behavior is tremendously unethical and his treatment of me borders on malpractice, as 2 weeks later I am still waiting on a prescription to be refilled that should not be suddenly discontinued. This man should be investigated by the medical board.

took our son to see Dr. Iskenderian... he was brusque with his offerings of medications, didn't ask how my son was doing on the second visit, and then gave us a list of possible meds and told us to do our research.

Never met the worst doctor that had no intentions in helping and verbally told you unless he was paid he would help, until now. Maybe it's because he was born in the middle east that he feels the need to treat women bad and yell aND be little them. My nephew has severe mental health problems. He is in a program that requires him to be seen by a doctor at Glendale Adventist. They recommend kevork iskenderian, we went together for our first visit. We waited in the lobby for 45 minutes. During the meeting it felt rushed he was standing by the door after 10 minutes in hopes of walking out. But in the lobby for 45 minutes my nephew told me several things and I brought it up during the meeting. Doctor still stood at door attempting to rush the conversation so he could leave. He later contacted his mother per request of his patient who yelled at her over money. We just had our first visit how is money an issue?! In the end he said my nephew was to complicated and had an… extreme mental health problem for him to be of help. Dr. kevork iskenderian said he would revoke his contract with him and notify the progam. As a police officer I don't recommend anyone to this doctor. And I don't recommend women speaking with him because he doesn't know how to treat them. In my opinion and experience 0/10. Don't do it.

Although he is generally a nice person, he isn't thorough and doesn't genuinely care about his clients. When I brought up an additional concern of sleeping problems due to medication, he snipped about his time and me needing to make an additional appt. Never had I been so dismissed by any doctor.

Sent my son to this doctor. He misdiagnosed him initially but of most concern is that he prescribed a drug to him known to trigger mania in a patient who may have bipolar. When called to discribe to him the manic episode we were witnessing he refused to see him again and said he could only treat stable patients. Didn't even bother to mention to stop taking the drug he had prescribed. Also completely lost control of his temper when we called to report symptoms and was clearly unstable himself. Also mentioned that his practice was very stressful and that he may get sick himself if he had to take on any other patients. With his level of incompetence and lack of professionalism, it is no wonder his waiting room was empty.

Highly unprofessional and seemed unstable and overwhelmed. Would not recommend for any mental conditions.

Nicknamed "Baby Huey" amongst medical circles and colleagues, this is due to his unique and persistent attachment to quackery. I went in, and was subjective to numerous ineffective treatments and different, farfetched "ideas" every month that were proven to be incorrect by a simple Google search. Avoid at all costs! His reputation as "Baby Huey" is widely known except, ironically, by him and people unfamiliar with the area. Go to an MD instead!

This guy was a jerk! Could care less about anything I had to say. Just wanted to talk about himself! Really!! Stay away from this one.

If you are passive Dr. Iskenderian is great.
