Dr. Khaled Shahrour, MD

I have found Dr. Shahrour to be very professional and caring. I have been seeing him for almost 8 months now. He follows up with me and is very responsive to my needs and questions. The office staff I believe need some more training on dealing with customers, responsiveness, and scheduling but I do not hold the Dr. responsible for this.

Was able to get operations done in a timely manner and appointments. Would advise anyone to use his services.

Be prepare to pay a bill after seeing this doctor even if you have and used your health insurance! I called to book an appointment with this doctor and they never mention that my Oscar insurance would not cover everything they just took my information an made me believe that my insurance cover everything. 3 weeks later I arrived to my appointment the ladies in front desk took my ID and my insurance card, made me sign few papers and also never say anything beside my copay. 30 min later I saw the doctor for less then 10 min asked me few questions that's all. He went back to different room since he's located in hospital not private office than came back and told me that he wrote some medication and sent it to my pharmacy . I asked what kind and at this point I found this doctor he's not worth the time and he's like those who work for pharamaceutical pushing to sell their drugs. The doctor was pushing me to take viagra that I don't need at all and I asked him why are you giving me this… and you know that I don't need it and Im not here for that! He keeps pushing me for it and telling me just keep it with you you might need it!!! One month later I receive a bill of 220 from the hospital to pay. I tried to call him and figure out why I m receiving this and why no one told me that my insurance would not cover it? I ended up just getting transfer from one to other all around the hospital and no one have an idea why he billed me. stay away from this doctor and see someone else in private at lease you can get hold of if something went wrong and someone who wouldn't push you for drugs that you don't need. save your life and money.

Have only seen this physician once, and have little experience to evaluate him, but repeated contacts with his staff have caused us to find another urologist, Not sure what the cause is, possibly the failure to fully document patient contacts. For sure, the left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing! One week or longer delays getting important test prescriptions signal an internal problem, also wait time of 45 minutes plus to reach office personnel by phone.

My husband has been seeing this Dr a he has been professional and caring to us very knowledgeable he immediately knew what was wrong and began treatment we felt very blessed great staff.

Staff very friendly and courteous but pack a lunch and take a sleeping bag! Wait time is ridiculous! Also making an appointment for a further visit/procedure doesn't/didn't happen in my case. Off to see a different urologist!

I scheduled an appointment with this office and when I made the appointment I was told he only comes in on Wednesdays. I stated my only day off was Fridays but that would be okay given no other choice, I could rearrange some of my own patients to be there but I need an appointment that would be Timely and asked how much time I should set aside for the appointment. I was told an hour should be plenty of time I set aside an hour and a half. I also had the receptionist fax me the paperwork ahead of time so that when I presented myself at the front desk I handed her all the completed paperwork with my driver's license and insurance card. After an hour's worth of wait I was told that there was still 3 people ahead of me. I told her that was unacceptable. She went back to speak to the doctor who sent back a message to me that that was what it was and I will just have to wait. They also said that they squeezed me in and they should have never scheduled my appointment at 11 o'clock. She told… me I was the last patient to be seen that day. I stated I never asked for a special appointment but that was the day and time I was given. I found the lack of consideration of this doctor to be unprofessional and unethical. I would never allow one of my patients to wait for me like this. I take my clients back promptly at their appointment time I do not double triple and quadruple booked my appointments. I was making $0 as I was sitting in his waiting room. I should bill him for my time. I left and I have rescheduled my appointment for next month with a different physician.
