Dr. Khalid is a great doctor who cares about his patients till complete cure.

4 months post op: pain - 2 out of 10; feeling good - 9 out of 10. Dr Abbed gave me my life and happiness back. He is an extraordinary surgeon/physician and an extraordinary human being.

DR ABBED IS THE BEST.. AFTER HAVING SPINAL SURGERY TWICE PERFORMED BY ANOTHER SURGEON AND STILL HAVING DIFFICULTY, DR. ABBED PERFORMED MY SPINAL SURGERY FOR THE THIRD TIME,. VERY SUCCESSFULLY. I CAN'T THANK HIM ENOUGH AND I CANNOT WRITE ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT HIM. HE IS KIND, CONSIDERATE , CARING AND NEEDLESS TO SAY "SUPER INTELLIGENT" ANOTHER SURGEON THAT FAILED, DR. ABED PERFORMED SUCCESSFUL SURGERY AND TO HIM I AM VERY GRATEFUL. HE IS KIND, COURTEOUS , EXPLAINS PROBLEM VERY WELL AND IS VERY, VERY INTELLIGENT.

I had back problems for over 20 years that was progressively getting worse and affecting my life to the point I was having depression over the constant pain. I went to one surgeon she said I was not a good surgical candidate. Then my son had neck surgery with Dr. Abbed and it was hugely successful. A year later I went for a second opinion, he reviewed my chart, felt I was able to have surgery and it has changed my life. I was out of work for three months, now back at work full time as a floor nurse and doing extremely well. Dr Abbed and his staff are amazing. Made me feel very comfortable and encouraged.

Dr. Abbed takes the time to review all of your medical information & really listens to the patient. He explains the diagnosis & prognosis in detail, answers all your questions and has a fantastic bedside manner. The staff at Yale couldn't be nicer or more efficient.

Great clinical approach,explained the problem showing me the 2 MRI and the difference between them he took the time ,even with the constraint of time in health care, he never made me feel that he was in a rush. I decided to have surgery with him insted with another great Dr. but in the Orthopedics field.He made me feel as if I can totally trust him.

Dr. Abbed is so easy to talk to. You don't feel rushed. Did a wonderful job with my surgery and am only sorry I didn't go to him sooner.
