Dr Shafiq is a very qualified and skilled doctor. However on both occasions I have seen him I have waited more than an hour after my scheduled appointment before being put into a room. Once in the room I have waited almost an hour to see the doctor. That is not acceptable. I have spoken with others to make sure before I submitted this that this is the norm for his practice. Next time I will leave after 30 minutes unless he has an emergency which I would certainly understand running behind.

proper diagnosis of condition: Patient was not advised of size of stent which further caused complications diagnosed by current cardiologist where Dr. Shafiq's stent was placed

When I went for an appointment with Dr. Shafiq at Paris Cardiology Center. I was very impressed with his state of the art very modern office. He has very well trained staff members who seemed to know what they were doing.The Doctor himself was very courteous and detailed orianted in his examination. He listened very patiently to all my concerns. I was very happy to have received such quality treatment in a small town like Paris Texas.

Dr. Shafiq has saved numerous lives of patients with Heart problems. He offers high quality cardiac care services at his clinic Paris Cardiology Center.Dr. Shafiq saved my Dad's life, My Mom's life and my brother's life! If there is only one person that I cannot thank enough for all he does will certainly be the most wonderful Dr. Shafiq!
