Dr. Khalil Coleridge Alleyne, MD

Dr alleyne has been my primary care doctor for years. My struggles have never been easy nor have they been predictable. He has stood by me with the bedside manner of a caring family member. He has always cared about my health answered all my questions and not only has been rooting for me but he reminds me to root for myself aswell. Every MyChart message I send I always get a quick response. He is extremely smart and he gives me hope for improvement on each issue I’ve faced through the years. I truly feel heard and understood. I truly believe I could not be in better hands.

Poor bedside manner, rushed appointments, inattentive to listening to patients. Yet he’s promoted to be in charge of Family Medicine at SSMC. I’ll seek care elsewhere as he was dismissive of my symptoms.

I’m pretty healthy person and get sick rarely however every time I’m sick I have to go back and forth to his office multiple times before he acknowledges my illnesses as something more severe than a cold or virus. He just doesn’t seem to believe his patients or listen.

Dr Alleyne has been the best doctor we've had for our family after numerous experiences living in different states. He is very laid-back, likable, and explains things at a normal person's level. We really appreciate his common sense type of approach to medicine. He's never pushed any treatment on us and has even encouraged us to use less invasive remedies when appropriate.

Very condescending, doesn't listen to patients concerns, no patience, and does not so compassion. I would not recommend him to anyone. One visit all it took to know he was not a PCP I want taking care of my medical stuff!

I think Dr. Alleyne is awesome. I was nervous about him at first because I am not a fan of change, but he did a really good job-- and my 18mo old son absolutely loves him. He's very good at going over everything, which I am thankful for as I often cannot come up with questions on the spot. Also, I often show up to appointments early and it seems I never wait more than five or ten minutes before they have me in a room.
