Dr. Khizra Alam Khan, MD

Never have I been so dismissed by a “dr” before! She never listened to me and my full, complex history. She jumped right into judgment about my symptoms possibly being Psychosomatic because I take Psychiatric meds! I take several off label and I thoroughly told her my diagnoses and meds, though they were in the system. It was none of her business! I wasn’t there for Psychiatric reasons. I truly hope that anyone with mental health issues that comes to RHC, does not have khan as a hospitalist. She definitely medically gaslit me, completely shamed me. She asked me several times if I wanted the Psychiatrist to visit and I stood firm with my answer, No. I have a great psychiatrist. I am not there for it. She didn’t know how to fix my real medical problems, so she hid under that umbrella. She aggressively treated my condition, even though it wasn’t working and still IS not! She created more damage from her over zealous methods!! I needed a GI consult, which I pleaded for and never got. She… made me much worse. Arrogant, inferior, non- caring and judgmental. Do you want this as a hospitalist?
