Dr. Khuram Ameen, MD

a very charming man, explains good for me.

Dr. Ameen was my critical care doctor in 2014 when, as a young adult, I was in and out of the icu multiple times. I echo what others have said : he is the primary reason that I survived, even when other providers said I might not live . He not only can clearly identify a problem and react quickly, he is also patient and has a fantastic bedside manner. Having him look out for me gave me some feeling of security during a very traumatic time of my and my husband's life. He went above and beyond and kept an eye on me until I was sent to UC San Diego for further help. I can't thank him enough. Recently, in the course of my own work, I had the opportunity to meet the hospital CMO and was able to pass along how much I appreciate all that he did.

He took care of my mother in critical situations more than once. On each occasion he was the reason she survived. To him it was always a simple on clear solution whereas other physicians actually suggested she would die. He managed her care with excellence. I can’t recommend him enough!!

There aren't enough stars that could express my deep gratitude for Dr. Ameen administering life saving medication to my husband when he was admitted to ICU with pneumonia and a life threatening blood infection. I truly believe had it not been for Dr. Ameen's actions and expertise my husband would not be alive.

Dr. Ameen is fine tuned. He pays attention to every detail. I am grateful for him.
