Dr. Kia Calhoun Grundy, MD

Dr. G has been treating my children since my son was 3 weeks old and my daughter was less then 24 hours old. She is God given and my children would not go to any other doctor. She is amazing with parents and children alike and puts your mind to ease from the minute you walk into her consultation. Would recommend her to all.

I really like the Doctor but the staff is absolutely horrible! You can never get an appointment when you really need one; can never get medical papers filled out in a timely manner including referrals. Everything is a hassle. The staff is nasty, they look lazy, they act lazy. They are incompetent. When you walk in the office you have to ask a question 3 times before they even look up and acknowledge you. The doc is great but the staff is the worst I've ever encountered at a doctors office. If you expect perfectionalism from Front desk go elsewhere.

My son has been seeing Dr. Grundy for the past 7 years. She was referred to me by my childhood pediatrician since she was retiring and not accepting new patients. Needless to say, she is wonderful. She is a real DOCTOR MOM! She answers all my questions and is a very warm Dr. I would highly recommend her! P.S. as to the review regarding the sick visit and new patient rule! It is a very busy office and I believe the rules and time slot they have available for specific needs helps them to run things smoothly. They are amazing African American Doctors~

What a hassle! New patients can only be seen between 11am-11:30am or 2pm-2:30pm regardless of whether they are sick or well. It is now 2:15pm. The office tells me that they are open later but cannot accommodate my sick child because he is a new patient. I have two choices; take another day off of work to accommodate the office or bring him in when he is well. Either way the fact that the child is sick TODAY has no bearing on them. Further, when I try to explain how irrational that policy is because it means having a healthy child miss school the receptionist tries to tell me I am wrong. PAUSE.??

Dr. Grundy takes time with her patients and really digs in. It leads to a longer wait to see her, but at least you are getting a good doc once you have your moment with her.

The atmosphere is very pleasant. The wait time is very short. The ease of an emergency walk in visit is very helpful.Dr. Grundy is very pleasant and her bed side manner is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. would recommend to all! TOTALLY pleased - received this office as a referral from Dr Carl Ross with total respect.
