Dr. Kaz OVERBOOKS appointments! She quickly does the procedures and does not take the time to speak to her patients.

Dr. Kaz and staff are very knowledgeable and thorough ! She caught a life threatening problem in my mother that no doctor had seen before- saved her life. She truly cares about her patients and it shows! Staff are friendly as well. I will never go anywhere else for my eye care! Her mask policies are told to all patients with the reminder calls and text messages so nobody should be surprised. Nobody is forced to purchase a mask- patients just need to wear the disposable mask; not cloth mask to their appointment. If they do not, they can purchase the mask at the door.

I was in desperate need of a doctor’s note to excuse me for two days of jury duty. First, I was never told in advance that the fee would be $25.00. Second, when it was time to pick up the letter, I was simply told I could pick up the letter the following day, “again” with no mention of the fee. Once I arrived I had to speak to one of the supervisors who “finally” informed me of the $25.00 cost I was so humiliated & upset by the way she treated me, as if I had no self-worth or reason to question their office fee. The situation got worse when I was told to walk over to the counter to pay, The supervisor didn’t place the letter in my hand until I signed the paperwork, proving my bill had been paid. As long as I remember, I’ve never been charged for a doctor’s note or treated so poorly by a medical facility. After receiving my bill from Dr Kaz in the mail, the fee for the letter was listed as a request for a “Medical Record”. I called to question the bill, and of course I did not agree. I… suppose this was one of theIr many hidden fees. If I’m not going to cheat Dr. Kaz’s staff employees, why in heaven’s name would they want to cheat me, and list it as something other than what I asked for. The entire experience was very hurtful and demoralizing for me. I left the doctor’s office shaking from that experience. One that should have been handled with professionalism, and in a caring manner.

Dr. Kaz and ALL her staff are wonderful. She did my eye surgery and I do not need to wear glasses anymore. She is an excellent doctor and is following all the protocols for COVID. Two thumbs up!!

Was told all patients need to use a mask in Dr. Kaz office which is approved by her. Well, well....guess who sells these? Dr. Kaz's office, cost $5. She is a thief who's taking advantage of Covid crisis to extract more $$ from patients. Someone should report her. Her excuse is that mask must be medically approved, I've been to other doctors and have never been told my mask is inappropriate. Even so, masks are given for free in all businesses. Money hungry

Sending elderly patient to the Walgreens bathroom because they say its due to Covid. How clean is Walgreens bathroom? They should have bathrooms available for their patients

I was not made aware in advance that the bathrooms would not be open to patients. I had two appointments this year and was lucky I did not have to use the bathroom however, today while waiting for in the waiting room for my appointment an elderly lady had to use the bathroom and the girl at the front counter said bathrooms were closed due to Covid. She suggested the closest bathroom would be Walgreens. If the bathrooms are closed because of Covid first , I am not sure how clean Walgreens bathrooms are or other bathrooms for that matter and to suggest she go to Walgreens and come back to the office was absurd. I love Dr. Kaz but I do not agree with this policy. I would think you would want to accommodate your patients and not send them down the street to use the bathroom. I pay a lot of money each year there and I expect to have a bathroom.

First off the office manager and Dr kaz literally overbooks the patients, when the patients gets upset she tells the staff to lie! Every decision the front staff makes is a decision that goes through the office manager and the Dr. Kaz herself. Dr. Kaz is all about money ! she charges for copies, she charges for prescriptions. She overcharges for contact lenses and has a higher prices than any other doctor. She tells the staff to lie to the patients and gets mad at the staff when they patient refuses to stay for appointment or does not pay there balances. The office manager does nothing and refuses to intervene when patients are upset with the staff. The office is ran so poorly with a high turn over rate. Her staff changes every week. I would not do business with her what so ever ! She does not care about patient care or she does not care about her staff all Dr. Kaz cares about is money money money. Beware

Wow, I have worked for Dr. Kaz for 14 years and I have not met a more professional, competent and kind physician in my medical career. All the staff are exceptionally competent or they will not last here. And to see the recent poor review!. The truth IS some patients show up without their correct insurance information and still demand to be seen and intimate the staff. SO someone did not get their way and they right a poor review. Kaz Vision and Laser Center is an excellently run office and a phenomenal doctor!

I went as a first time patient and they refused my medicare card. Said I had to have a new one. Told them I did not have a new one and they said call back when I got one...told them that wasn’t going to happen. Took the afternoon off, drove to another city and they wasted my time. I went to my car, called medicare and they confirmed that I did not have a new card and that my card was good until the last day of the year. I went back in, told them it was confirmed I did not have a card, my card was still good and because they were so incompetent I was not about to let them take care of my eyes because who knows how misinformed they would continue to be. If your front desk is stupid, how can you count on the back.
