Dr. Kim Margolin

Dr. Margolin is one of those rare people in the world who would be extraordinary at just about anything she focused her very passionate energy on. She is a delightfully warm human being who also happens to be an incredibly brilliant physician/researcher. Hers is a very straightforward communication style with a keen wit...backed by years & depth of knowledge. This is someone who thrives on the awe & joy of discovery. She stays at the forefront. IF you have to wait (because she is so in demand), she's worth waiting for! My family has the utmost confidence in her...we are so grateful for Kim.

Dr. Margolin discussed (while examining another patient) how another patient had just received his cancer diagnosis and was p_ssed. Unprofessional in her conversations with patients. A genuinely professional bedside manner does not exist. She seems to prefer traveling and making comments on recent clinical trials than actually conducting trials for her patients. She does not maintain trust by managing conflicts of interest, e.g. she is the spokesperson for Genetech's melanoma drug Zelboraf and does not seem interested in conducting trials using GlaxoSmithKline's combo melanoma drugs.

I have great respect and admiration for Dr. Kim Margolin. I trust her knowledge and skill and feel grateful to have had her as my oncologist.
