Dr. Kim-Phung T. Nguyen, MD

Kim-Phung Nguyen, MD is board certified in general surgery and fellowship trained colon and rectal surgeon, specializing minimally invasive surgery to treat colon and rectal disorders, with an emphasis on individualization of care. Dr. Nguyen provides medical and surgical care for various diseases that affect the lower gastrointestinal tract with a special focus on colorectal cancers as well benign disorders like Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, and
anorectal disorders. Her care philosophy is to manage patients and their expectations in an open and collaborative way. Dr. Nguyen wants her patients to feel as though she cares about them as if they were a member of her own family and doesn’t just look at them as a disease process. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Board of Surgery, American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and sees patients 18 years and older.
