Dr. Kimberlee Joi Adkins, MD

I chose the right doctor for me. My doctor of 30 years retired and I needed the right fit for me. Dr. Adkins listens to my concerns. As an aging person I looked for a doctor that listens. We discuss medical results and she helps me decide which course of action is best for me. I think we will have a wonderful working relationship. I feel my health is in good hands.

Dr. Adkins has excellent bedside manners and I feel that she cares about my total well being. She's proactive and has helped me to "reset" my health goals and get on track. I referred her to my daughters and a few friends.

Dr. Adkins is tops. She takes her time with her patients. She is thorough and knowledgeable in her field. If she is not sure of an answer to a question, she will get back to you with a feasible answer. She is kind and understanding. My daughter and I both feel confident in Dr.Adkins and her abilities. I have recommended her to several people and they are all pleased. Dr. Adkins has a true heart for her patients and her practice. I highly recommend her.

I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. She has be very rude an unprofessional. She believes that my expectation for her to fill out paperwork properly was unattainable. She also believe my expectation to receive the proper paperwork the FIRST time instead of the fifth time was unattainable. She was terrible to be seen by. Her staff was very unprofessional. Even the call center to make an appointment is unprofessional. They hang up on you and don’t call back. Please steer clear of Dr Adkins and the practice! Please go somewhere more professional.

Had an initial visit with Dr. Adkins. My first impression was "ok" but hoping that over time we can develop a rapport about my health.

Appt was cancelled by the office w/less than 2 hrs notice. The resched appt 1 week later consisted of dealing w/unfriendly front desk, rude tech, & Dr. Kimberlee Adkins (PCP) herself was very unprofessional. I fasted & waited >45 min to be seen. When I expressed my concerns, the "doctor" was unapologetic, showed no empathy, used "system changes" as an excuse, & said there were signs about theses changes. Dr asked if I wanted her to show me these signs when I said I didn't see them so I left! There is NO shortage of PCPs in Howard County. I do not recommend this rude, unprofessional, & unkind PCP as she is a disgrace to the healthcare field!
