As a family, we’ve seen Dr Caputo numerous time over the last few years for various injuries. With a bone condition that runs through our family, we’re no stranger to breaks, major and minor. We’ve been to a few different practices, but settled on Ventura Orthopedic when we moved out to the Conejo Valley . Dr Caputo is super caring and gentle with the little ones. She takes time to explain everything and goes above and beyond for the well being of the kids. We wholeheartedly recommend her if you ever need a great ortho.

After making us wait over an hour and a half, we spend 5 minutes with the doctor which frankly, was 5 minutes too long! I brought my 4 year old for pain in her knee and she was way too aggressive with stretching her trying to find the pain point. Just doesn’t seem to like kids so I’ll never bring my kids back or ever recommend this doctor. No personality and when a four year old is in pain, naturally the doctor should be a bit more gentle with them. For my 4 year old to say “I don’t like that doctor daddy” is a sign on its own. Save your time and find a doctor for young kids that truly cares.

I came to this office for what I thought was a broken ankle. Although my x-rays were taken promptly, I was then put in a waiting room for two hours. When I then asked when I was going to be seen by the doctor (Caputo), I was told the computers were down, and they could not tell me. When I suggested they ask Dr. Caputo when she would be able to see me, I was told Dr. Caputo would not know that. I then left, bad ankle and all. This is a horribly run business, and deserves the terrible ratings that it gets.
