Dr. Kimberly D. Clay, MD

Horrible first impression Dr. Clay made for herself. She was like a dark cloud that entered the room . And presented herself as extremely rude and uncaring. Was making trashy comments under her breath , but right in front of me and my wife , loud enough to hear , she was saying " hold up let me not, let me mind my business , let me stop myself " to us. How unprofessional, uneducated , and classless can they get. Do NOT go to her. I do NOT recommend .

Terrible. No personality. Hateful. Never even asked one question as to why I was being seen. Resident in training did all the work. Her license should be revoked.Very unprofessional and tacky.

I recently seen Dr. Clay to follow-up with labs and concerns. Absolutely rude as soon as she walked into the room. Shrugged her shoulders and fluttered her eyelashes like what are you doing here. She did'nt even say hello! or how are you? Automatically started talking down to me like I was beneath her. Im sorry if you are worried/concerned that your patient may know more than yourself. If you would just listen to your patients maybe you would get somwhere with your career. We need physicians who are advocates for their patients not against. Next time you disrespect one of your patients humble yourself and ask where does my paycheck come from????

she also struggled with the diagnosis. said i had a fatty liver, i didn't. this was only a part time job for her

I recently saw Dr Clay, and from the very moment she was the most rude, nasty, and arrogant person I have ever seen!!!! She sat across the room from me, it was like talking to myself. I felt like I was being attacked from the get go. Every time I tried to ask a question, she blasted me and talked to me as if I was an idiot. I will never go to her again and I hope she is fired from the practice!!!!! I have never in my life been treated like this from a so called professional!!! Never, never, go to this thing!!! She is not good enough to be called a doctor!!!!

Doctor Clay is excellent! She was patient and answered all of my questions. She skillfully prescribed medication to get my thyroid numbers correct for surgery. I highly reccomend Dr Clay.

I've just read some of the ratings of other patients. I've been Dr Clay's patient for about 5 months. I realize she has left the Spartanburg area this month and though I won't be a patient of hers any longer,I felt the need to express my opinion of her. She was extremely informative, and delightful to talk to. She was kind and considerate. I will miss having her as my endocrinologist.

She is rude and has 0 beside manners! She tried to increase my thyroid meds that I was highly allergic to and would not return calls from my family doctor, nor the emergency room doctors. She raised my medicine and went on vacation, came back and was boiling bc they took me off and changed meds. She fired me as a patient by calling me on the phone! How can a doctor do that? Try to over dose ya on poison and fire ya? She doesn't even need a job with the public, much less be a doctor

I just got a letter saying Dr. Clay is leaving MMG. I hope someone there finally caught on to her. I have had Graves disease for 5 years and no when my levels are off. She would not listen to me when I tried to talk to her about it and was very rude! She hung up on me. She needs to listen to her patients!

I would look for some one else, she was impersonal, indifferent and unhelpful. Avoid!
