Dr. Kimberly Jean Fletcher, DO

My niece used her and miscarried at 25 weeks. She didn’t diagnose her for incompetent cervix until it was too late and then acted like some sort of hero to help her get pregnant again. My daughter-in-law also used her and had a c-section and had a horrible infection and when she tried to address it this incompetent Dr blamed her. When she tried to see her she wouldn’t see her. Not a fan! I’m a nurse… although not a OB-GYN nurse and I’ve heard nothing but bad from other healthcare workers. I highly suggest for your health and safety that yall steer clear of this lady!!

I have read reviews and heard opinions about Dr. Fletcher. Having a baby is a beautiful and stressful ordeal. Dr. Fletcher is straight to the point and extremely knowledgeable. I read reviews were patients were upset that she didn't coddle them or make them feel important. As in any relationship you have to make that effort as well. Also, she is a busy OG/GYN. Babies come when they want and guess what? It may happen at your appointment time. I don't know about you but I want her there when I deliver and if you've had a baby already then you know you don't care about anything your doc is doing and are demanding she be there. At one point her staff, which wasn't permanent due to re-staffing, was not as caring as they should've been and even I was frustrated. But they have gotten that fixed since then. I and on my 4th pregnancy (2nd with Fletcher) and had signs of miscarriage. Her staff spoke softly and helped me clam down when I was terrified. They also got me in her office within 10 min… of my call. Dr. Fletcher was honest and very compassionate and immediately did and u/s, but me on a weeks bed rest and made me start meds. That doesn't sound like an overwhelmed, uncaring doctor to me. Turns out I had twins and lost one but Dr. Fletcher TOLD me that could've been the case although she never guaranteed it without a follow up u/s. Every book, app on your phone or article about what to expect about your pregnancy says that if you have questions or concerns to write them down and discuss with your doc. If you don't let her know you have concerns or questions, then she wont be able to read your mind and answer them for you. My husband (who is very picky) even likes her. WE like the straight forward and honest approach versus the get your hopes up approach. Give Dr. Fletcher a chance and see for yourself taking in to consideration all that I have mentioned. She is great!

A few years ago after years of heavy menstrual bleeding I visited Dr. Fletcher when she was a doctor at Moore Hospital before the tornado. She told me a simple Nova Sure procedure would remedy my problem and the surgery would only take about 15 minutes. She was right it remedied my problem alright, and in just a month I developed horrible cramping and problems. I went back to her and tests were run. One of the ultra sounds from moore hospital said I had a cyst on my left ovary. Well that's funny. I had that ovary removed when I was 18 by Doctor Ballina at St. Anthony Hospital. When she saw me after the tests she said I needed a hysterectomy. This was what the procedure she did on me was suppose to prevent, yet it ended up causing me to have an emergency hysterectomy, which I did not have her perform. I went to a specialist who examined me and in front of my husband said that it seemed that my cervix had been burned shut and he couldn't do a proper cancer test. I had to have an… emergency hysterectomy because the specialist told me if I had another period (which was the equivalent of miscarriage cramping horrible pain), he said I could die. So, my life changed drastically as did my sex life which use to be wonderful, due to the neglect of this Dr. Fletcher who told me it was no big deal, and the surgery would stop my bleeding and everything would be great. It couldn't have been further from the truth. My husband and I no longer have a sex life because of the damage this woman caused me. I no longer have natural hormones. It all ended in the easy 15 minute procedure she said was so simple, after she burned my cervix shut.

Assembly line experience, does not answer questions at all throughout pregnancy, terrible bedside manner, scared me into a cesarean that was not necessary. I would NEVER recommend her to someone I love, or someone I don't even like for that matter.

I love Dr. Fletcher. I have known her for 10 years and have referred every pregnant friend to her! I started seeing her in 2005 and never had a bad experience during my 3 pregnancies and 2 births (one of the 2 was scary)!! She is just REAL and never candy coats things. If I walked in saying "I hate the way I feel" she would probably agree with all of my negatives that I had on mind that day but the next visit agree with all my positives! Just what a pregnant woman needs. She is just plain awesome. Weird but I look forward to my yearly visits, just so I can catch up with her and her life! (Show her pictures of my miracles too)

Dr. Fletcher is amazing! We have had to wait on her once or twice, but I mean these babies come when they want and she has to be there for that family. She is busy cause she's good. Checked on us twice after my wife delivered and her staff is quick with answers to questions.

Dr. Fletcher delivered my baby a few months ago by C-section. That's after two weeks of going to the hospital bc my BP was high and increasing, not responding to BP meds. She was on vacation and they wanted to wait til she got back. I got a call on Monday to go to L&D- they were going to deliver me that day. Well, I didn't deliver until 36 hours later- no food or drink in the meantime. I then had issues, my baby had issues, and then she didn't remember me at my very next follow-up visit! I think she is nice enough, but she is way too busy to give good, quality care to her patients or even remember them from visit to visit. Sad, really.

I had one procedure done by Dr. Fletcher, she didn't even speak to my husband after the procedure. I went to see her over a year later for another issue and waited well over an hour to be seen. She was very rushed and without any examine gave me a diagnosis and wanted to perform a procedure. I had to have labs done twice due lab screw ups. Her office was supposed to call me to schedule the procedure and never did.

Dr. Fletcher seemed like a great doctor at first, but my trust had been misplaced. I was suppose to have my Mirena removed because it had been over 5 years, and my husband and I wanted to start trying again for a baby. Well I also needed a leep procedure done. After completely the leep procedure in a hospital she forgot to remove my Mirena and my cervix healed over my Mirena leaving me to have to undergo another surgery just to have the Mirena removed. She was careless and forgetful and I could not trust her after the mistakes she had made.

I have been going to dr. Fletcher for six years and I feel that she is very knowledgable but her staff is terrible, by far the worst I have seen. Dr. Fletcher is always at least 30 minutes late but once you get in, she works with you. Since she has switched to integris, her staff, on the other hand, never answers the phone. After you have called her office for three days straight, multiple times a day, you finally get ahold of someone but they immediately put you on hold and you can be on hold for twenty minutes before you even get the chance to say anything but you are afraid to hang up because it will be next week before you get to talk to someone again. The staff is extremely rude when you actually talk to them and not willing to help. If you have an urgent concern they refuse to talk to dr. Fletcher about it and tell you to go to the ER because dr. Fletcher cannot help you at all since she's booked for three weeks. When you have an appointment the staff up front is listening to… offensive music very loudly to make sure everyone can hear it in the patient rooms, along with their singing, laughing, and talking negatively about patients of course. Dr. Fletcher is the only OBGYN I have seen so I hate to think about changing doctors but I'm to the point that I don't see the point in having a doctor that doesn't have the least bit friendly staff and if you have a concern they aren't willing to speak to your doctor about it. They just write it off and heaven forbid you call twice with the same concern!! They chew you out and make sure to tell you they already told you she can't help and if you have a concern to go to the ER. ABSOLUTE WORST STAFF IN THE HISTORY OF DOCTORS
