Dr. Kimberly Lawus-Scurry, MD

My Fiance and I have been patients of Dr. Scurry for about a year and we are very pleased with her. The problem we have is with the staff. They are very rude / not very helpful and if your in pain, dont expect any special treatment, they will just tell you to go to the hospital. I expect treatment for painful situations the same day that you call and not to be referred to the emergency room. I understand that they have appointments, but if you have issues involving pain you might get to see her in a few days. I hope that Dr. Scurry reads these posts, maybe she can do something for her patients and tighten up her staff. As far as Dr. Scurry goes, I think she is great, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would like to see her with another company, Physicians Associates seems to treat everyone like numbers not patients. Its almost like living in a third world country, waiting for medical care.

Called on a Monday morning, received a same day appointment, was taken back to treatment room within 5 minutes and received quick care, interacted with Dr. who had taken time to read my chart before she came in, great personality,
