The most unprofessional physician I could imagine for my birth. I was appalled at her lack of bedside manner and the way she treated me during in my most vulnerable state. She refused to even look me in the eye when talking to me and dismissed and ignored my valid questions and concerns. The nurses working with her were uncomfortable with her direction and her forcefulness in pushing and rushing unnecessary interventions on me, which I had researched and was well-versed in. As someone from a family of physicians, this lack of professionalism is appalling and embarrassing to the profession. It is unfortunate that due to my location, I had to deliver at this hospital and be assigned this physician. Had it not been for the amazingly supportive nurses, the trauma I experienced during childbirth at the hands of this physician would have been much worse.
