Dr. Kimberly E. Monday

I've had MS for 26 years but continued working in spite of the many many hidden problems that the disease caused. My neurologist that I had seen for about 10 years was dismissing new or progressing problems I was having, I believe because they're all hidden. Doctor Monday listened, never dismissing anything I said, but considered it all. She looked for and found evidence of the problems I mentioned, making recommendations based on the findings. She bases her treatment both on medical evidence but also understands that in some cases no one knows better than the patient about how they're feeling or the troubles they're having. Never condescending. She's moving up to the Medical Center which is a lot further for me to drive but I'm going to make the drive to see her.

I really like her because she really listens and is focused on you when she is in the room with you. Very polite and not condescending. I have been seeing her and her PA, Jessica, for nearly a decade. Bob

I was seen at the Pasadena location 3 weeks ago for migraines. My migraines were so intense I ended up at the ER three times in a week! I did have Dr. Monday paged and she said." I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU"Which no patient wants to hear. My husband takes me to Memorial Hermann ER. The very next day I called to move my MRI up. I got lucky and was able to get in same day. Here's where things turn from bad to worse. I have my MRI done. Liz the tech says your doctor should have the report next day. I wait until Thursday and leave a message for my results no call back. At this point I'm out of migraine meds call back and ask for refills Rory states that Dr. Monday had already given me meds for my migraines which was incorrect the ER NP have me 10 pills. Called Monday and spoke to Helen the office manager and her exact words were Dr. Monday is busy I can't rush her. ( They also changed my meds to nasal spray and I told Helen that they caused me to have nose bleeds and she said OH… which noone told me I got the call from my pharmacy!) She was beyond rude and inconsiderate I told her I have left message stating that my headaches haven't gone away. She say well I don't see that on our end. ( SO NOW I'M LYING) At that point I hung up on Helen! I was also charged and wasn't suppose to pay because I have met both my deductible and OOP! I work in the medical field if I would have ever treat a patient the way I've been treated here I would have lot my job. Here I am still having headaches no meds no results! This looks to be something that happens often I wish I would have seen the reviews but I was desperate for help! And I have yet to get any.

I hope Dr. Monday and her family as well as everyone in the office made it though the storm. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dr. Monday is a great doctor who really cares about her patients. She also has a great staff from her nurse including both her nurse and PA. Unlike a lot of doctors, Dr. Monday and her staff communicate. I write a note on the Health Portals and within 24 hours I get a reply. Believe me, when I say, this does not always happen with other doctors!

I was very disappointed with Dr Eberle. I went to see Dr Eberle because I was having severe fatigue, headaches/head pressure, numbness in my feet and several other neurological symptoms. Dr Eberle constantly interrupted me as I was trying to explain the symptoms I was having. I told her about the numbness in my feet and her comment was "so what". I told her that I was having sever fatigue and that my GP had done some blood tests to try and determine what the problem was. When I told her that my GP did not find anything in my blood tests she stated "Well if your GP didn't find anything wrong then you should just go back to work." Of course that was impossible because I was exhausted beyond belief. Dr Eberle was completely arrogant and made little if any attempt to try and help me. She simply stated "I don't see anything wrong with you and recommend that you go back to work". Dr Eberle recommended that I take Cymbalta (an antidepressant) for the numbness in my feet and should "just not… worry about it". An antidepressant for numbness in my feet? What a grossly incompetent doctor. After consulting with several other physicians it turns out that I have a severe case of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (this is a well-known neurologic/immune dysfunction illness). This is a very severe illness and Dr Eberle missed it completely and recommended that I return to work. I would not recommend Dr Eberle to anyone. Not even a dead person for an autopsy. Looking at all of the poor reviews here on Dr Eberle, I'm not the least bit surprised at the poor and incompetent treatment that I received. Well everyone, you have been warned!

Dr Monday is so patient and kind. She takes whatever time is necessary to answer your questions and never makes me feel she is I a hurry to see the next patient. I have a lot of other issues as well and migraines and she considers the whole patient and takes everything into account, even those things that don't necessarily or directly relate to the care she is providing from neuro standpoint. She sits down and looks at you face to face (not at some computer screen) on your level. She has treated me for migraines for over 5 years now and I just cant say enough good things about her. She is a true Gift from God as a practitioner. She cares and understands. Maybe its also the fact that she is also board certified as psychiatrist she just understands both physical and mental. Love her. If you can see her I would highly recommend her. Her PA Ms Jessica Hanson is just as wonderful as she is. In fact everyone in that office (Pearland or Pasadena) is very caring and kind.

The waiting time there is ridiculous. The stack of paperwork you have to fill out, why do you need to know the last grade of school completed. what does that have to do with a EMG. Yes the DR was good when you finally got in. I was told I do have Carpal Tunnel and I do need surgery. So I am sitting at work waiting on a call from my surgeon. I get a call from them and they are extremely busy there and say they have not received the results back from the EMG tests. I was furious I kindly asked her if she would call them and she said yes. BUT I also called and all they are waiting is the DR's signature so they can send it. What the heck it should of been signed as soon as she did her part of it and should of been sent to my DR so the surgery can be scheduled. As far as trying to get things faxed ( like orders they will gladly tell you No they haven't gotten them yet ) instead of looking in the inbox and there sitting there. Find another place too many people in the… office don't know what the heck there doing or NOT doing !!

Very impressed, took her time and was very knowledgeable.

Dr. Monday is such an awesome neurologist and doctor. She truly cares about you and is so empathetic. She is hard to get an appointment with these days but if you have an emergency the PA will see you and sometimes Dr. Monday will come in for a minute to check on you. She not only cares about you neurologically, she cares about you emotionally. I was recently diagnosed with MS and it has been hard to deal with. Speaking with her has helped. I wish all doctors were as caring and loving as Dr. Monday.-I am a nurse myself and deal with doctors all the time. She is the best! I love her bedside manner.
