Kimberly Parker, LCSW, PHD

Kimberly Parker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Ph.D Psychology Candidate. She has gained over nine years of experience through education, volunteering, clinical internships and work experience. Kimberly has worked in the following settings such as Mediation, Geriatrics, Pregnant Women & New Mother’s, Adults with Intellectual Disabilities, Victims of Domestic Violence, Weight Loss Surgery recipients, Caregivers of Adults with Chronic Disease and Hospice. Kimberly specializes in trauma-based therapy.Kimberly is also a Holistic health coach and believes that incorporating nutrition along with therapy bring about a mind, body and soul balance. Kimberly also provides traditional and Christian counseling along with working with the Jewish Community.Kimberly also has a mentorship program for young ladies between ages 12 and 19 years old. As adolescence girls navigate through life there may be a time when they need assistance with various issues. We will analyze their own …strengths and areas of improvement, set personal and vocational goals, and work on areas such as self-confidence and self-esteem.Kimberly has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Old Dominion University. She also has a Master’s in Clinical Social Worker from Norfolk State University. Kimberly holds a MBA in Information Technology and Security Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
