Dr. Kimberly Elaine Pickens, MD

Dr. Pickens has a good personality, however we're not a good fit left me no choice but change physicians due to issues encountered. 1. If scheduled appointment with Dr. Pickens, only to be assigned to Physician Assistant, who prescribed meds, forgetting to inform you to discontinue prior meds. 3. No communication of test results outsourced to Archbold facilities. 4. Sample meds. 5. My biggest pet peeve is when laptops take precedence over a patient sitting on an examining table asking patient to lift their feet from a side chair, is bothersome. I wish Dr. Pickens much success; however, I had to move on to someone who is invested in my health as I am.

She a nice person and I wish I can see her again

I am in the process of changing Doctors. Dr. Pickens is a really nice person and has a great bedside manner. However, there have been numerous times that I felt like she was not listening to what I was trying to tell her. She would not address the matter(s) at all. There have been times that she would sit facing you while you were talking and had her eyes closed then when you stopped talking she had no clue as to what you had just said. She would contradict herself within the same visit as well as from one visit to another. I really like her as a person, she is really sweet, but I personally need a doctor who I feel is alert during my visit, especially since she is the one prescribing medication to me. Also, I need a physician who I feel is listening to me and care about my concerns.

Dr. Pickens is an awesome doctor. I feel like she really cares about her patients. She takes the time to talk to you and is not rushing to get you out the door.
