Although I was pleased with the service I received at the office of Dr Rau, I was highly disappointed in their lack of knowledge concerning the prices of their services. After discussing the overall cost before my procedure with 2 individuals in the office, another on the phone, and even in the office after my procedure, they each quoted me the same amount. Imagine my surprise when I was sent a bill for over double the cost discussed! If I knew an accurate cost before having the procedure, I would have either chosen not to have it done, or else looked into other doctors. Highly disappointed.

I went to Dr. Rau after I had spent a year and a half at another dermatology group with no results and never did get to see a doctor. On my first visit, Dr. Rau diagnosed me almost immediately with a rare skin disease and has been on top of it ever since then. Dr. Rau and her assistants do battle with my insurance company and are available for any questions I have and I have a lot!!

Fantastic day Very happy with the out come . Great staff and Dr. Rau.. Will be happy to be back in 2 weeks.

Very busy, "I can't do that today." Never did a whole "body assessment" which I paid the co-pay 1st. My cancer is advanced skin cancer. Not sure of info I gave i.e. "who/what MD". Over & over. Then she sent me back to Hillman Ctr. & prescribed a med I told her I had bad side effects to. So I'm back where I began. ONE STAR HERE IF YOU HAVE TIME AND $40.to waste.

It starts as you walk in the door, the receptionist are rude followed by the nurses and ending with the Doctor. Find another doctor

I had been a patient of Caitlyn Stowe, Dr. Rau's physican's assistant, for years. I always had great experiences with Caitlyn Stowe, but when she left the practice , I had to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rau. After waiting for 45 minutes after my schedule appointment time, Dr. Rau told me that she did not have enough time to complete the 15 minute procedure that I had scheduled (and had gotten many times with the physican's assistant and also once or twice with Dr. Rau also.) She did not apologize for keeping me waiting or for the mishap in scheduling. In addition, no co-pays are required when you come in for a procedure. However, since Dr. Rau did not have time for the procedure today, she then instructed the receptionist to bill me for an office visit and that I was responsible for the copay. Again, she did not apologize for the mix-up. I will not be returning and have found another dermatologist.

Does not follow up with patients accordingly. Staff is unprofessional and rude. Would not refer anyone to this practice.

Terrible. Don't bother being seen at this office. You won't get any answers if you actually have a REAL issue. You are better off looking it up on google then going to this office.

I had a cyst removed from under my eye. Dr. Rau was in the room for a few minutes, after I waited for over an hour. After the procedure I was faint. The staff was concerned and called the doctor. She said, "You only got the same anesthetic a dentist would give," and she walked away! The staff took my blood pressure. My husband came and took me home....I was sick for 2 days. When I went back to have my stitches out the doctor NEVER came in. Her staff said she was, "Busy." I went to another doctor who finished the procedure. I would hardly call her a doctor!
