Dr. Kimberly Jean Yang, MD

She listened and solved my problems quickly and wisely.

Dr. Yang has been my doctor for a few years now. She has always been responsive to my needs, kind, and caring. She is able to combine her experience with the individual needs of her patients, finding the best plan to help them back to health and then maintain that balance. I would absolutely recommend her without reserve.

I had gotten dependent on Xanax and Ativan from a previous doctor, and taken them for many years without problems (or so I thought). But then my insurance changed and I had to go with Kaiser and was assigned to Dr Yang. When we first met, she noticed I was also taking meds for my chronic back pain and told me that this was a dangerous combination to be on. I fought her tooth and nail on this, because I had been on this regiment for a long time and was scared to stop. She gently guided me through a taper, but also pushed me to go through with it when I started to doubt my ability to ever stop these meds. She also set me up with a great therapist (who I'll write a separate review for). I know I wasn't the easiest patient to work with, but I appreciate Dr Yang working with me. Instead of throwing more pills at me, she helped me get off these dangerous meds. I'm now on just one antidepressant and doing so much better than before. I'd recommend her to anyone.
