Dr. Kiranmai Gorla, MD

Ignored everything I said, was rude, stood outside the door talking to her nurses for 30 mins laughing instead off coming in and didn’t end up being any help

My daughter went to this dr and was misdiagnosed with constipation. She accused me of not feeding my daughter well which led to the constipation-from our “American diet”. My daughter ended up having a missed 15 POUND ovarian cyst causing the constipation. It wasn’t a gastro issue at all-and took a full six months of seeing this gastro dr for treatment which was unsuccessful. In the end, another dr found the problem with my daughter. Praise God - the cyst didn’t rupture and wasn’t malignant-both which could have happened. There were times this Dr was nice, but I spent most of the time with her feeling guilty and scared.

Waste of time and waste of $380. Dr. Gorla came in with cleavage and a messy bun and asked me how old I was. When she learned I was younger than her, she didn't care what I had to say about my daughter. My infant daughter was in the 1st percentile for weight because she would projectile vomit 10-20 times per feeding. I tried telling Dr. Gorla about some of her other symptoms, but she cut me off many times throughout the appointment to tell me what she needs (a laxative, apparently, even though she poops everyday and the same antacid her pediatrician took her off of because it wasn't working but he's wrong because he isn't a specialist.) When I spoke, she interrupted me with things completely unrelated to what I was saying. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my life.

Kiranmai Gorla is the worst doctor we ever met in our lives. Totally Indian attitude, rude and impatient with our son. She just assumes and thinks the reason for gastro problem was due to anxiety for my little son. Such an IDIOT.

She found out my son had anxiety, and immediately decided that was the cause of his symptoms. She got out a piece of paper to explain how my son's symptoms were all in his head. I finally asked her if she was going to examine him at all. She said no. I got up and walked out of the office. As a medical professional myself, I find it very disturbing that she latched on to a diagnosis without hearing all the facts/symptoms. Total waste of a visit!!

She doesn't understand about illness for older kids, just nothing. I don't recommend this doctor.
