Dr. Kirby Joseph Scott, DO

I had in-office sinus surgery by Dr. Scott to resolve years of difficulty breathing through my nose. I also had a severely deviated septum blocking one side of my nose almost completely. He is just awesome! I can breath perfectly and I sleep so much better. In response to the other review complaining about having to pay the portion the insurance doesn't prior to surgery. Who can blame them? It's the people not paying their bills that makes it so hard for doctors. I gladly paid my deductible portion and have been so happy with outcome. Great office, great Doctor and great nurses. It doesn't get any better than that!

I see Dr. Scott for allergies that I have had since I was a kid. He tested me right in the office and I started on Allergy shots. I feel so much better. His staff is really nice and super friendly which is great since I see them quite a bit for my shots.

I needed a procedure done on my nose. My airway was obstructed and I had been suffering for months. My insurance company was going to pay 80% of the charges for the procedure but Dr. Scott demanded that I pay the balance of (20%)up front or he would not perform the procedure. I tried to discuss this with him but he would only talk through his office help by telling me that if I did not have the money paid before the procedure then it would have to be rescheduled. My husband had surgery a month before and was not working so this payment in advance was too much of a hardship for us. I asked if I could pay a few hundred dollars up front and then make payments over the next few months, again he said without the payment up front that the procedure would have to be rescheduled. I decided to find a doctor who cared more about me the patient than what money he could collect from them. I'm glad I found out what kind of a person he was before I allowed him to perform a procedure on me. I would… NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone.
