Dr. Kirk Warren Brody, MD

ATTN: Florida patients - There's a reason why he closed his practice in Chattanooga and moved to FL, and it wasn't for the weather. He can't practice medicine in TN anymore, and he was barred from performing any care at all the Chattanooga hospitals. Google this guy before you book your appointment. Your child's life could depend upon it.

The BEST gyn visit I've ever had. Doctor listened to me and was not rushed at all. Appointment was on time (I was at the office 50 minutes total). Staff very friendly and helpful.

I have had several issues with the office and Dr. Brody. He has ignored several issues I have had laughing them of. He has been dishonest in treatment and the office refuses to give straight answers.

He has helped me so much with all of my gyn problems. He is compassionate and listens which other doctors never did. Would never trust any other doctor

Dr. Brody was treating my pregnancy until recently. I found out from another doctor late in my pregnancy that Dr. Brody has had his hospital privileges revoked at all hospitals for an entire year now. I started asking around about Dr. Brody after obtaining this information, and several people in the health field have told me he’s going through a malpractice case after a baby died due to Dr. Brody’s questionable decisions during delivery. I know that malpractice cases can happen to any doctor, but Dr. Brody was lying to me when he repeatedly told me that he would be delivering my baby at Erlanger even though he doesn’t have the privileges to do so. I’ve been told that his patients show up at the hospital in labor, and the hospital staff has to tell them that another doctor will be filling in for Dr. Brody. Dr. Brody clearly values his reputation and/or profits over the wellbeing of his patients.

I thought he was a great doctor at first, but I’m left feeling abandoned at 26 weeks pregnant. My insurance changed this year, and I called Dr. Brody’s office to make sure I would be covered under the new network before the switch took place. His staff told me yes (I asked two separate times and was told yes both times), but my insurance company just informed me that he is NOT in ANY of their networks. I tried calling his office to see if there was some kind of mistake on my insurance’s side, and no one will call me back. I’ve left tearful voicemails, and I’ve called and explained my situation to at least four different staff members over multiple days. I keep getting promises for returned calls, but here I am still waiting with no answers or returned calls. It makes me really sad that they don’t care to make me a priority when I’m obviously feeling very upset and lost. This is my first pregnancy, and now I’m faced with the difficult task of having to find new OBGYN on incredibly… short notice.

He is the BEST!!!! He has helped me so much with menopause symptoms. I highly recommend Dr.Brody if you are entering menopause.
