Dr. Kirk George Bowden

Great guy but horrible staff.

I have had CRPS for 12 years and have received treatment in Nevada and Arizona. I have been to 8 or more of the “Top Recommended” pain specialists in Arizona. I have been talked down to, rushed through doctors offices, subjected to test after redundant test and being told I couldn’t be helped. I didn’t know what to expect when I made an appointment to see Dr Bowden. I found Dr Bowden to be the most knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and thoughtful doctor I’ve ever been to! He understands that people with chronic pain are consumed and overwhelmed by it. He cares about how your pain effects your life. He truly cares about your quality of life not just the pain that brings you to his office. I think he is the kind of doctor all doctors should strive to be. Best of all he gives PAINLESS trigger point injections. I have been going to him for almost a year and will continue to do so. You can’t go wrong with this doctor.

I never got any help in many years I seen him and was accused of being addicted 6 years later I was diagnosed with slip disc arthritis and siadic nerve damage

I really love Dr. Bowden. So many people treat people in pain like druggies and he is very sympathic to them. I would recommend him to anyone looking for help in getting their pain in control.

great doctor he has taken excellent care of me.

He has got me back on my feet. He has managed my pain where I can do my regular duties. ( had been down for most of 3 years). This was because of a spinal injury.

This doctor was the worst and does not have a clue about pain and the control of it to medication. Too scared to properly do his job and order even a moderate amount of options medications when absolutely needed. Youth, inexperience, and incompetence. I feel sorry for any person who mistakenly puts his trust in this poor excuse for a doctor for his treatment for chronic pain. You will needlessly suffer because Kirk Bowden MD is clueless on how to do his job and treat you and I repeat....you will needlessly suffer. AVOID HIM AT ALL COST. If they had minus stars he would rate them.

I only saw Dr. Bowden once, after that I was unable to get an appointment with him and only saw his PA Nick due to appointment conflicts and them having to constantly reschedule me. Pain was NEVER really under control and was treated poorly when current dose did not work. Because of constant pain did advise that I needed to see Dr. Bowden for possible injections which believe me is a saying something because I cry at the thought of a needle in my knee but it hurt that bad. Was told I took too much meds, even though I had advised Nick that two a day was not working. Was dropped as a patient because of needing refill too soon. I unlike most reviews liked the nurses and staff as they always treated me well. I even liked Nick just very disappointed that he gave up on me and would not work with me. I am at the end of my rope as far as being in constant pain, at this point I would rather not be here at all.
