Dr. Kirk Alan Kindsfater, MD

I would highly recommend Dr Kindsfater! He took the time to explain everything to me and also answered all of my questions. Time wise, it was the same as many of the other specialists that I have see. I appreciated that I never felt rushed in his office. He and his staff are the best.

If I could give zero stars, I would. After waiting over an hour, this arrogant physician barged in with no remorse or apologies for my time. It started rough and ended rough. While I got the gist of what he was saying, it was done in a rude, offensive and disrespectful way. I had never met him before and had I known how pompous he would be, I wouldn’t not have come! He greatly lacks empathy, compassion and has no sign of a bed side manor!! He has a team of 3 PA’s. I met with one of them, who was gracious and very kind. However, everything the PA advised me, Dr. Kindsfater rudely disputed. Perhaps he and his team could all use more training. His overall demeanor was arrogant and dismissive.

Dr Kindsfater did an excellent job on my new knee. His staff were accommodating in the office as well as during the surgery. Kirk answered all of our questions in a humorous way or serious when it was appropriate.

Very informative visit.

I’m ecstatic with the end results of my surgery I have full mobility in my knee and have fully recovered due to the wonderful care I received. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Kindsfater has surgically replaced both my hips and both my knees over the years ~ all with great success. He and his staff communicate well. I trust him completely. He is a fine surgeon.

I was born with hip dysplasia. At the age of 40 I had bone on bone that wore almost all but a portion of my hip away. Dr. Kindsfater was able to repair my severe hip and I am very happy with the result. I can now walk and do some other activities that I could not do before, without pain. He made sure that I had what I needed in order to recover properly from the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kindsfater as he gave me my life back.

I am very happy with the bilateral knee replacements I've had for almost five years. I remember awakening around midnight the day of my surgery to find Dr. Kindsfater checking on me. I have learned to schedule follow-up appointments as early in the day as I can. I think Dr. Kindsfater's PAs are outstanding; I have no problem seeing them instead of Dr. K.

I went to Dr. Kindsfatter because my mother had her's by him. I felt like his process was only mechanical. Set this way to accommodate his being able to claim that he does more knees than any else in the area. I met him once before surgery, at 2 wks after and at the 3 month checkup. All other times were done by the his PAs If there are any problems they are explained away. After 5 months I am still having pain behind and lateral of the knee. I struggle with the idea of reporting it to his staff. This leaves me empty and sad.
