Dr. Kirsten Turchan, MD

Dr Turchan and her staff are wonderful, kind and compassionate. From her front office staff to Dr Turchan you couldn’t have a better experience. She has helped our Grandson so much with his skin issues. Thank you for being the knowledgeable and loving doctor you are.

My son is a new patient and we really liked Dr. Turchan and her staff. She was very friendly and talked directly to my son to get answers to her questions. So far very impressed....didn't have to wait long either.

She was very rude and snooty. I will not be back.

Although strongly recommended by others, I went to see her about a condition. She said, "I'm not sure what this is". Literally spent 5 minutes with me and had her assistant do most of the work. By the way, I waited over an hour for her. Waste of time. NO follow up.

Our Daughter had very severe eczema to the point her skin was cracking open and bleeding. We took her to Dr. Turchan after not getting anywhere at Riley Children's Hospital and Dr. Turchan not only got her cleared up but also did alot of research on our daughter's syndrome that has dermatology issues. She went over and above to learn as much as she could to help our little girl.Riley treated our daughter like nothing but a chart number and we got personalized attention every time we go see Dr. Turchan.

During our first visit, the Doctor said flat out, "I don't know what it is." She decided to try one method for removing a bump on my daughter's skin. She spent less than 5 minutes with us from the time she walked in the door and back out again. Very turned off by her lack of patient relations skills. Our out of pocket costs for a visit and treatment that did not remove the spot, was $200. Won't be going back as prescribed.

I have spent over $1000 in the past 6 weeks on medication and office visits - while the issue my daughter has is getting better. I will not be a long-time patient of Dr. Turchan's. The amount of time spent in the exam room with my daughter was dismal (and not adequate) as well as the discussion with me (the parent) of the next steps of care of the issue was very weak. The scheduler (Jane) is the worst I have ever encountered - totally unwilling to work with my WIDE OPEN schedule to get my daughter back in for a follow-up appointment. I will definitely be switching Dr's.

Rude office staff and doctor

Dr. Turchan saw my daughter because her regular dermatologist was not in. She diagnosed my daughter with a rare skin disease that other doctors often miss. She saved my child from the misery of misdiagnosis that so many others with her condition have suffered with for years.
