Dr. Malireddy completed medical school at Coimbatore Medical College, India, followed by a general surgery residency at Andhra University, also in India. He worked at Kings College Hospital in London, UK, and received a degree from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. After a research fellowship at Mayo Clinic in …Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Malireddy completed a second general surgery residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a fellowship in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Malireddy is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.  

Following his father’s footsteps with the intent of becoming a surgeon himself at age 12, Dr. Malireddy shares life with his own family today. His wife is an oncologist, and they have two daughters growing up exposed to the medical field each day. In his personal time, Dr. Malireddy enjoys spending quality time with his family, gardening Bonsai plants and running.
