Dr. Mark R. Mainous, MD

I recently had emergency laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery. Dr. Mainous was very informative and attentive to answer any questions I had. I appreciate his urgency to perform the surgery so that I was not in any more pain and release me so that I could recover in the comfort of my home.

Recently had acute appendicitis and was checked into the E.R. Very satisfied and thankful for Dr. Mainous and would highly recommend his abilities to anyone in need!

Everything went very smoothly and professionally with day surgery laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery yesterday.

I was admitted to Willis Knighton Bossier with pain determined to be gall bladder problems. Dr. Mainous agreed to do the surgery the same night that I checked into the hospital. If not for his urgent surgery, I might have not survived because the gangrene had already started in my infected gall bladder. He could have waited until the nest morning but did it the same night that I checked into the hospital. I think that Dr. Mainous probably saved my life. He has great bedside manners and spent plenty of time with question and answers to our questions. He is by far the best surgeon that I have ever had any dealing with. Also Willis Knighton Bossier is the best hospital that i have ever been a patient in. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Very unusual for a hospital to care more for their patient than for themselves. From the food to the care they were all excellent.
