Dr. Konrad Alan Mark, MD

Stay away from this doc he WILL NOT listen to you. I was there for an evaluation and tried to explain my symptoms and he hushed me and said to keep my answers basic with no explanation. Not only that but he was seriously ill prepared, it took him over 20 min to get my information ready to go over.

I have seen the negative reviews and they couldn’t be more wrong. Dr. Mark takes his time with me and I have seen countless doctors. He saved my life during Covid over telehealth and I continue to see him now in person. No other doctor was able to diagnose me properly until now because he does take his time and doesn’t give up! His methods may seem old fashioned but they work as tried and true! He doesn’t watch a clock and say time is up! He calls you back when you are in crisis. I don’t know any doctors that care like that in today’s world!

Hungry for money, not interested in helpfulness.

There is NO office staff. Hard to reach the office. THey hire outside companies like answering services to do business. Lots of phone tag. They seem to be stuck in the 1970's...need to update to the year 2020 and would be nice to have an email for the office to communicate or a portal. So hard to communicate and they would call me 10 times in one day instead of just calling and leaving a message. I met the doctor once and he seemed ok but the communication difficulties with Marie has left me unable to continue with this doctor. Im finding another.

Dr. Mark always take the time for me no matter how many problems/issues I am having that day. He takes the time to help me with each problem patiently and never makes me feel as though I am bothering him. I always leave his office feeling a lot better. He never steers me wrong. If I have any problems before my next visit, I am always able to contact him and he always gets back to me that day. He is truly one of the best doctors that I have ever had, and I have been to many over the years as a patient with both bipolar II disorder and Parkinson’s Disease. I chose Dr. Mark about 6 years ago because he is a specialist in both of these areas of medicine, and I have been happy with my decision. I would recommend him to anyone that I know is looking for a psychiatrist.

Every appointment I had with Dr. Marks was always 1-2 hours behind, sometimes longer. There would be people sitting in the waiting room ahead of me who hadn’t been seen yet, so you’d know you wouldn’t be seen on time. IF I decided to wait to see him he could care less what you have to say, write you an RX and rush you out. My migraines were never properly diagnosed or treated by Dr. Marks. I would definitely recommend seeing a different Dr

Dr. Konrad Mark is a very kind and empathetic person. He runs a practice where he does not prescribe any opiates nor narcotics. He does not prescribe Ativan, Adderall nor Valium. Dr. Mark is both a Psychiatrist and a Neurologist. I am his patient and I feel very confident in his care. He never looks at a watch nor a clock when you are at your appointment and gives you all the time that you need. I highly recommend Dr. Konrad Mark. I see him at his Arlington office but he also has an office in Hamilton, MA.

Say what you will about this Dr. but I've had nothing but good experiences with him. He's the only one who found out what was wrong, after 17 different doctors couldn't figure it out. He found my Lyme disease and noted that I had had a small stroke when everyone else gave up on trying to diagnose me. He saved my life. His bedside manner is abrupt, he seems extremely scatterbrained and inattentive, and he's always running late because he's stretched so thin. But the man is a genius and NEVER gives up! I would recommend him to get the job done any day of the week.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mark's for almost twenty years. "Brilliant" is not a word to be tossed around lightly, and yet, I have heard other patients use this word to describe him. I would agree. He is a first-rate physician and diagnostician. I can lead a normal life because of him. If you're looking for a truly topnotch neurologist, Dr. Mark is the doctor for you!

It is highly recommended that you do not choose this doctor as you may be spending precious time wasted trying to have him listen. I was referred to this doctor through my insurance and had faith as a doctor he would listen to my concerns of unrelenting pain. All past information, from another doctor, was attempted to be discussed with him; however, as they were not his notes he would not entertain the thought of discussing further treatment according to my symptoms. Simply put my experience with this doctor was of little to no compassion for the level of pain I am experiencing. The doctor is highly condescending despite the sense of a lack of ability to perform his job with proper bedside manner. I cannot stress enough how much I would not refer this doctor to anybody. If you are in any level of pain that needs to addressed please do yourself a favor and find a doctor that will listen to you. Take care, be your own advocate, and good luck
