Dr. Kory James Johnson, DO

Dr. Kory Johnson has changed my life for the better. I recommend him 100%. I had been suffering with knee pain for over 3 years and hip pain for more than 1. I couldn’t walk more than 30 feet without feeling pain. I would get “stuck” in certain seated positions and have to “rewind” my movements in order to get up. I had to lift my leg into the car. I sought help and advice from multiple doctors in multiple cities. Dr. Johnson was a recommendation from my PCP. He immediately ordered hip X-rays, which no other doctor had done, and saw that I was suffering from end stage arthritis in one of my hip joints. It was beyond conservative treatments, and he scheduled me for surgery. I had my total hip replacement done 2 weeks ago and it’s amazing! The pain in my hip? Gone! Dr. Johnson does the replacement in such a way that there are no restrictions for you after you leave the hospital, just listen to your body.

I am very impressed with Dr. Johnson. I feel that he really cares about what concerns me. And he goes the distance to easy my mind and to find out what is going on. I feel I am in very good hands. He’s a very good doctor!

Dr. Johnson is very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I appreciate his confidence in my upcoming surgery to make my knee better and have less pain.

I waited an hour and a half in a hot room. The resident came in and saw me for about 5 mins. He asked about my pain, then said Dr. Johnson would be in shortly. I made a big mistake not bringing my phone in. I had no way of telling the time or contacting my husband to come get me out of the room. They use pass keys to get in and out. The doctor came in and saw me for maybe 10 mins. He was very friendly. He said he could not read my results, so had to leave and look at and come back in. Worst of all, while I sat, I could hear a doctor and staff laughing and talking for the longest time, while I waited! Not professional!! I used to work for a doctor’s office, and we would get written up for that. There’s such thing as staff getting along, but there is a time and place! Very disappointed! I should have walked out!!

Was very impressed with my first appointment with Dr Johnson. Knee surgery is being scheduled.

Dr. Johnson replaced my left knee 2 weeks ago. I am already walking unassisted, walker for one week, cane for 3 days. The recovery has been way easier than I expected. The care and attention to details by Dr. Johnson and all staff has been amazing. I plan to have him replace my right knee soon. 10 stars!

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Johnson. He is most helpful in all regards. All questions one has are addressed in full. One never feels rushed. His surgical skills are superb. He is very friendly and courteous.

Dr Johnson was incredible. All my results were just as he predicted. Great bedside manner, great follow up. I liked him so much, I’m going back for my other hip replacement.
