Dr. Kris Finley Gillian, MD

I went through an exam with him and he literally spent less than two minutes with me and afforded me no opportunity to ask questions. Poor visit.

This was our first time seeing Dr. Kris Gillian and it will definitely be our last! My father (who is 70+) recently had an accident and fractured his orbital bone and he had a black eye. The ER had referred us to see Dr. Gillian. When we made the appointment we were told they take Medicare/Medicaid but when we got there they said they do not and charged us $220 for the appointment. Once the doctor stepped in, he had fought with another nurse and brought that anger into the room. He spoke to us aggressively and he told my father directly that he didn't care about the issue he was having. After doing research about the injury itself and speaking to multiple doctors the treatment that he needed was supposed to be given by an ophthalmologist, which Dr. Gillian is, though in the appointment he kept stating that it "wasn't his job." And he would not listen to my concerns.

I had LASIK at the L’ville location a month ago. It was easy and painless and now I have great vision without corrective lenses. Dr Gillian was great.

I WENT TO DR. KRIS GILLIAN FOR MY CATARACT SURGERY, AND HE GAVE ME THE 3 DIFFERENT TYPE OF LENES TO CHOSE FROM. SO I CHOOSE THE PREMIUM LENSES SO I DIDNT HAVE TO WEAR ANY GLASSES ANYMORE. I WAS SO NERVOUS ABOUT THE SURGERY BEING THAT THIS WOULD BE ABOUT MY EYES. WELL THE FIRST ONE WAS DONE AND IT WAS AWESOME. I DIDNT HAVE ANY PAIN, DISCOMFORT OR ANYTHING. SO I HAD MY SECOND SURGERY 2 WEEKS LATER, SAME RESULTS. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID THIS. I CAN SEE AGAIN LIKE I WAS 20. DR. GILLIAN WAS AWESOM, HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME ABOUT THE LENSES AND WHAT EACH ONE DID, AND LEFT IT UP TO ME TO DECIDE. HE ALSO EXPLAINED ABOUT THE SURGERY HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE, WHAT TO EXPECT, AND HE WAS RIGHT ON IT ABOUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. EACH EYE TOOK HIM NO LONGER THEN 10 MINUTES FOR THE ACTUAL SURGERY. THE ADMISSION TOOK LONGER THE THAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYBODY LOOKING TO IMPROVE THERE EYE SIGHT.

Dr. Kris Gillian was professional, efficient, personable and informative with me for the multifocal lens implants using Lasik surgery. It started with pre-surgery consultation in the office and I was provided with easy to understand options for cataract surgery and pricing, as well as the medication regiment. One eye was operated on at Northside Hospital in a specialty unit with the second eye surgery two weeks later. The Northside Hospital personnel were professional and efficient as Dr. Gillian. The surgery was about 30 minutes each and recovery was painless without any discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Gillian for cataract surgery as well as the multifocal lens. It is now three weeks since the second implant and I have been able to read and see afar without any discomfort – NO MORE EYE GLASSES!

Dr. Gillian performed a Blepharoplasty on me. He left large amounts of scare tissue in the corners of my eyes (inner and outer) and on my lids. My eyes are not symmetric. Per my 2nd and 3rd opinions...this wasn't done correctly. When questioned about it he had an attitude. It will be expensive to get this corrected. Don't take chances, do your research.

I should have known that things would be bad when the front desk staff was already starting to talk about patients. This place tries to sell "premium" lenses to my mom...we didn't want it because it's so expensive. But they kept trying...it's annoying. Then the doc got frustrated with us because we were asking so many questions. Go anywhere else...you'll be happier.

This guy seems a little slimey...he's incoherent about medical information...seems like he's a political animal instead of a doctor.
