Dr. Krishe Menezes, MD

Once again, I cannot rate Dr. Menezes because I wasn't actually seen by him. I am quite sure that after sitting in the waiting area for 1 1/2 Hours, someone could have told me something, IE the Dr. is going to be late, we are running behind, etc..... As a major donor, as well as a "Friend of Community Hospital", I was certainly expecting better. It also took several phone calls to get my Copay returned. Very disappointed. Not even a courtesy call to reschedule. Again, very disappointed.

I have been dealing with this condition for several years. No doctor took the time to listen to me as Dr. Menezes did. I am thankful to finally know why I am the way I am.

Dr. Menezes checks thoroughly my physical, mental, and emotional health, always offering help with actions I need to take or medicine changes I need. He always asks my wife if she notices any changes since the last time I was seen. Dr. Menezes usually has a student with him, and while not taking any time away from me, he makes sure the student observes what he is doing. While I have benefitted from going to this practice for 13 years and seeing Dr. Elmer many of those years, I appreciate everything Dr. Menezes has done from me too. He is one great physician.

Clear and concise as well as polite and attentive to what I was attempting to explain to him in layman terms.

its been one year and a half and I am 90% beater and I give God all the credit because prayer works I believe he work thru the Dr.for my healing so I say have faith in God and you will get your healing always be positive!!!

As a parent, caregiver and adult patient, I have been involved with over 30 medical specialists (M.D.`s) including some at renowned medical institutions in Cleveland. Dr. Krishe Menezes is the best physician I have dealt with. From the first office visit four years ago, he has improved my father`s quality of life, despite a progressive, debilitating neurological disease. He always takes the time to conduct a thorough exam and history, and that both patient and caregiver have all their questions answered and understood. He is compassionate, especially when dealing with sensitive issues. He maintains the dignity of the patient. When questions arise and I call the office, I always receive a call back that evening from Dr. Menezes himself. Over the past four years, he has gone beyond his duties to coordinate care with other specialists. Dr. Menezes expertise, care and compassion far exceeds what one should expect from a doctor. I feel blessed to have my father under his care.

Was hoping to get an appt with Dr Elmer, for my father, on a referral from a friend who worked at MCO. Was told that Dr Menezes was a very good dr and was brought in because it could sometimes take up to a year to see Dr Elmer. Dr Menezes seemed not to listen during the appt and asked the same questions several times (I do most of the talking for my father as his speech slurred). One of the most annoying/ frustrating things is when his office orders tests and tells you the hospital will be contacting you to set them up. They never do, and when you try and contact them you get voicemail which they don't return your calls, and the lack of communication between their office and the labs is unbelievable. I would never recommend using the University of Toledo Medical Center Neurology Clinic. Needless to say I am looking for a new Neurologist, which brought me to this site. The staff at their office is very polite, and as helpful as they can be. I did request to speak to someone from… quality control, and have yet to hear from anyone.......9 months later.
