Dr. Krisna Srey, MD

This doctor put into my medical record inaccurate information which I can't have removed. Despite having never been seen by a psychologist or having been diagnosed with mental health problems, my medical record now states that I am not taking my medication for mental health issues. In fact, I am not taking any medication for mental health because I do not have any mental health issues nor medicine to take for such. Dr. Srey put into my medical record that I have a history of drug abuse. My positive drug screen for opiates is due to the emergency room physician I saw two days prior prescribing Norco to relieve any pain caused by him cutting my face in surgery. That's not drug abuse, that's following my doctor's discharge orders. However, Dr. Srey refused to check my chart to verify the prescription from my provider. Dr. SREY also wrote in my medical record that I refused IV antibiotics, when the truth is that my nurse couldn't get the IV started and after FIVE failed attempts made her… own decision to get a more experienced nurse to get my IV started. I refused NOTHING. Also in my record it states that I was a hostile patient, when there are witnesses to the fact that I was most certainly not hostile. Probably the most defamation is as a result of Dr. Srey putting into my record that my infection is due to an embolic event. This permanently ruins all of my future care. Just because 80% of Dr. Srey's cases are from some type of drug use, does not automatically make that the issue with every patient. For all future care I will now have to explain to every provider I see for medical care that I am in fact NOT an IV drug user, have NEVER in my life ever used IV drugs and that my infections have an underlying issue that I needed resolved which has nothing to do with IV drug use, because I'm NEVER IV DRUG USED. NOTHING on my record prior to this visit indicated such. I've never been overdosed on drugs, have NO history of drug use and quite frankly don't appreciate Dr. SREY deciding that was the cause of my infection because it's easier to put that down on my chart than it is to find out what the problem really is. I plan on filing a personal lawsuit for defamation of character and damages against Dr. SREY
