Dr. Kristen Victoria Crawford, MD

I had my first virtual visit with Dr. Crawford. It was short but to the point. She told me exactly what to do and was very helpful. She is so down to earth. I highly recommend her.

I think Dr. Crawford is an excellent doctor. She really listens to you and she does not hurry you. She is open to your ideas and will discuss it with you. She is also very very knowledgeable. She really looks out for her patients. I highly recommend her. Doug Thomas

Recently I was diagnosed with cellulitis. I first went to Dr Crawford and showed her the problem with my ankle. It had swollen and was very red. There was a small pin head opening at the left ankle bone. She thought I had a bone infection. She wanted to find out if it was the bone and called for an MRI. Plus xrays and another doctor so far off.Then Medicare made arrangements for me to have an MRI right Away. So I went to OPENMRI. They charged me $150.00 copay and then I learned that I had an appointment with an Orthopaedic specialist that was over a month away. The next morning I got up and had puss running from that area on my ankle. I headed for the Dr's office but in my agitated state I decided to go straight to St Dominics ER. The Dr. there on duty did another xray and told me I had Cellulitis. He referred me to follow up with Capitol Orthopaedic and gave me a strong dose of antibiotics. I took them and it has cleared up. But I still cannot stay on my feet for long due to… swelling. The only thing I find wrong with DR Crawford is that the orthopedic visit was way far off for a problem that needed immediate attention.....and being a Merit Dr. and not making an immediate diagnosis. Other than that I like her.

I was a patient of hers at St. D. clinic. and really liked her. I followed her to Merit and had multiple problems trying to reach the clinic, get answers to questions and staffing issues. Merit uses a ‘Call Center’ therefore your calls are not efficiently taken care of in a timely manner. They also never received my forwarded records. I have now gone back to the St D clinic due to the multiple issues.
