Dr. Kristen Rene Ell, MD

Her bedside manner was really awful. My daughter had to see her for a sick visit since our regular pediatrician didn’t have availability. Instead of providing any kind of assistance, she was more worried about questioning as to why we waited to have her seen. We are in the middle of a pandemic where the healthcare system is already stretched. I was not going to further strain it by bringing her in for a low grade fever and cough when I know (because of my background in healthcare) that all we can do is treat the symptoms. Once her fever spiked and it was clear this was more than a cold, I immediately made an appointment so she could be tested for COVID. It would be nice to know what we are facing. Instead, I was treated like I was a neglectful parent and never followed up with for an in person appointment.

Every time my husband and I bring our daughter in, she is curt, rude, and dismissive. I don't understand why she went into pediatrics when it seems like she doesn't enjoy interacting with children or their parents.

Kristen Ell was the first doctor we chose for our son, and after a few visits we'll be going somewhere else. We found the advice given during appointments to be unsupportive of breastfeeding, ethnocentric regarding sleeping suggestions and threatening when we questioned the chicken pox vaccine. The billing department was difficult to work with. The nursing staff offered advice that was medically wrong. We would not recommend this doctor.

We have been seeing Dr. Ell for about 9 years now, and we absolutely adore her. We have four children, and have had countless visits with Dr. Ell, and never once have we left her office feeling unsure or uneasy about the care we had just recieved. Dr. Ell is respectful of our parenting beliefs, and she listens to our concerns. She takes her time at each visit, and we never feel rushed. I trust Dr. Ell 100%!
