Dr. Kristen Fleager is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the upper extremity, including the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and upper arm. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where she was a Division I athlete. Dr. Fleager earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, serving as class president for four years. She returned to Stanford to complete an orthopedic surgery residency. From there, she was selected for the prestigious Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship, where she trained under world-renowned surgeons at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Fleager has cared for several friends and family - plus myself - and the surgical outcomes have all been outstanding. That plus her amazing care and empathy and accessibility make such and amazing impact on the lives of her patients. I would not recommend anyone else - she truly is the best!!

Dr Fleager has provided care to our family on several occasions and she has always done a phenomenal job. She is patient. She listens. She cares. She explains the issues and options and she does all she can to help her patients. Her surgical outcomes (3 in our family!) have all been 10 out of 10. I wouldn’t see anyone else. It’s so uncommon nowadays to find such a talented physician and surgeon that goes so far out of their way to take care of their patients. She has a truly kind heart and brilliant mind and incredible surgical skills. I would recommend her to anyone needing care.

I went in to find out about my hand issues. She rushed through the appointment in about 5 minutes, made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Handed me a sheet and said try this. Never saw the xrays, nothing!!!
