Dr. Kristen Geiger, MD

Dr. Kris Geiger grew up in Wisconsin, attending college and medical school at the University of Wisconsin. She initially moved to Colorado to seek out some new adventures in the mountains and to complete her pediatrics residency at University of Colorado. As part of her pursuit of passion for the active and outdoor lifestyle, she then moved to Minneapolis for her Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship, then returned to Colorado to launch her medical practice. Dr. Geiger worked dual jobs in pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric orthopedics with a private group in Denver 18 years before coming to Boulder Medical Center. As a pediatrician, Dr. Geiger is passionate about providing her patients and their families with a broad continuity of care. She is known as a good listener and for making kids feel comfortable in difficult and scary situations. Dr. Geiger always speak directly to her young patients, acknowledging their primary role in wellness.She is very active with her husband …and 2 boys, trying to keep up with them cycling, hiking, climbing peaks, camping, cooking and traveling. She is fluent in Spanish, mammals, reptiles and dinosaurs.
