I had to wait 35 minutes past appointment time to be taken to the small waiting room, where i had to wait another 12 minutes. She then rushed through my appointment, failed to listen to the reason I came in, and then left abruptly. Of the few minutes she was in the room, she spent about half the time talking about herself. I would gladly switch to another doctor in the same office, but she belongs to an organization which prohibits patients from changing doctors within the organization. Will not be back. Definitely do not recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr McFarland for about 2 years. I was so sad when my previous doctor retired, thinking I would never find another doctor as good as him. To my surprise Dr McFarland not only met my expectations, she far exceeded them. She is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever seen. She never rushes through your appointment. She is great at answering all of your questions and could not be more kind. I have complete confidence in her and hope to be a patient of hers for as long as I remain on this earth. Her muse is equally kind and never try’s to rush you. I have a high bar when it comes to doctors and she is at the top with her dad.

I have nothing to say but good things about Dr. McFarland. She was very thorough and spent a lot of time with me. She was very easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anybody.

Dr McFarland is very good at diagnosing your problem and explaining it to you

I've been seeing Dr. McFarland for almost a year now, and I can say that she is always available when you need her. She genuinely cares for her patients and I am so glad to have found her as my PCP. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a PCP!

I changed PCP's a year ago and am now a patient of Dr. McFarland and I finally feel like I am getting the care I need. She is intelligent, personable and took a great deal of time with me and listened to my concerns. I am SO glad I've made the change and feel very confident that I'll get incredible care from Dr. McFarland!

Dr. McFarland is one of the best primary care doctors I have seen. After moving to Knoxville a couple of months ago, I struggled to find someone that was right for me. Dr. McFarland was a breath of fresh air. She listened to me, asked follow up questions, and gave me more time than any other doctor I have seen. You will not regret going to see her although she is book out about 6 months for new patients because she is very good.

I have been a patient of Dr. McFarland’s for a year, and I find her to be consistently thorough, understanding, and open to discussion about my care. She communicates very well, making notes for me to take home and refer back to, and she always follows up on any concerns I have or information I need. She treats me like a partner in my healthcare, not “just” a patient, which is very empowering. I highly and unreservedly recommend her!

She is very difficult to get an appointment with and then rushes through the appointment without listening to any thing I said. She spent at lest five minutes telling me how happy she was that she was from Tennessee and is married to another doctor.
