To say that Dr. Rundell is by far the best doctor my family ever had would be an understatement. Being a caregiver to your parents takes alot out of you. Dr. Rundell went above and beyond the call of duty with my mother. She spent much more time in visits than I'm sure she should have. She was patient, thorough and you could truly feel that she cared. If she didn't know something, which wasn't often, she looked it up immediately. She was always eager to listen and there to give you a hug when it came time for hard decisions to be made. She never ever made you feel like so many docs do by swooping in and making you feel like you should be thankful to be in their presence. She has a servents heart. She knows we as patients, have many doctors to choose from. Her genuine warmth and compassion are her greatest assets. It's what sets her apart. Worlds apart from other docs. If she's your doc, you are blessed. I can truly attest to this because during the 8 years that I cared for my parents… and brother, we had probably easily upwards of 25 regular doctors, not including docs in the ER, docs in the hospital, specialists, student docs, etc. If she had moved to Columbus alittle earlier, my life would have been so much easier. Believe me, it's not easy to find someone to trust your parents with. With her...you can rest easy, knowing they are in the best possible hands. You know it from the minute you meet her. And for the student docs out there, if you fall under her mentoring, pay close attention to her interaction with the patient. It's not just about the smarts, it's mostly about the heart. You've got the best. Learn from her!
