Dr. Kristi Ananda Fitzmorris, MD

I went to Kristi for almost 6 years. She is to the point and never makes you wait. i like that. But I went in and had an issue withher staff and it was like I was throw out of a bar.. Absolutely no help from Kristi. I'm sorry, there are plenty of other family practice doctors that will welcome my business. Just like all of her reviews, the office staff has an attitude and Kristi let's them get away with it

Dr. Fitzmorris (formerly Dr. Prockop) is the best PCP doctor I have ever had (I am 61 and have been to a lot of doctors). I have never waited more than 60 seconds from the time her medical assistant takes my vitals until Dr. Fitzmorris walks into the room. Appointments are easy to obtain. Dr. Fitzmorris is very quick to determine the cause of my ailments and prescribes medicine in a conservative, but effective, manner. Her bedside manner is friendly and open and I would feel comfortable discussing any matter with her.

Dr. Prockop is very thorough and has been a terrific Doctor over the past 15 years that I have been seeing her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic doctor.

Dr. Kristi Prockop is an average to less than average physician, at best. She has bad bedside manners and is arrogant, which is not a shock when it comes to medical doctors but if that's how a doctor is then she better have extreme talent to back that up... she does not that I saw. Lastly, she has an unannounced policy that requires that you reschedule your appointment if you are more than 7 minutes late, yet when it comes to the patient waiting in the lobby I had to wait much longer than that.

I saw her after waiting 3 months to get an appointment as a new patient. I had blood work done at my Obgyn that showed hypothyroidism which threw me into post -menopause at 40 years old. She ignored the hypothyroid issue altogether and told me I was in the post menopause age range of 41-51. I explained to her that I was in my early 40s â??not within the â??age rangeâ??- when my period stopped and I had my period very regularly until one day it just stopped. I was told by my Obgyn this is likely due to my hypothyroidism. Also, it coincided with a 10 lb weight gain in one week for no apparent reason! I was told by my Obgyn that I had to see a GP to get medication. I told Dr. Prockop all of this. She ignored me and gave me a look like she was annoyed that I was questioning her. Then I asked her about permanent dark circles under my eyes that my daughter also has and she told me to take Claritin. She makes it so obvious that she doesn't care and just wants you in and out. I… also told her about a dull pain in my shoulder. She told me to stop moving my shoulder! She told me she had to get additional paperwork from my Obgyn and would call me by the end of the week. Guess what? No call. I will never go back to her. What I need is relief, not stuff that is obvious, that I already know or can read on the internet. The staff is also rude. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for them to finish up a random conversation before they would even talk to me. Very unprofessional and a waste of time and money.

Before becoming a new patient I spoke with Dr Prockop's nurse who assured me that she saw patients with my health problems and does write RX's for all the meds I was currently taking. However, after I was seen twice by the doctor. I come to find out she will not write and or follow pain management cases. Which is a complete contradiction to what I was told. So the doctor billed my insurance for a condition that she does not treat. FRAUD!!!!!!

I went to Dr. Prockop for a sinus infection. I had a fever, I was dizzy and my ears were clogged. She told me to use a Clariton and a nose spray which I was already doing. She told me to go find another Doctor if I wanted an Antibiotic for a sinus infection. I have never been treated this rudely from a professional...

I have had several appointments with Dr. Prockop. Then my father passed in late 2012 and I had to travel to take care of my mom. I got sick while I was on this trip and called Dr. Prockop's after hours number. I never heard back. When I called to follow up the next day I was told that Dr. Prockop had been on call and they would get back with me to tell me why she did not respond. Again, I never heard back. I ended up having to spend hours in the ER in between my father's wake and funeral. When I got home, I had a letter from Dr. Prockop dismissing me from her practice. I went in to ask the office manager why I was dismissed (I believe her name was Joyce) and was told that she did not know but would ask Dr. Prockop and call me. Again, I never heard back (there is a theme here). When I went back in to ask the office manager why I did not hear back, I was told that she did not have to tell me. I never missed an appointment, did not owe any money, and was never rude to anyone in her… practice. I felt mistreated by Dr. Prockop and I feel that she and her office manager acted cowardly in dismissing me from her practice and not discussing any of their concerns with me. In addition, each time I was told that Dr. Prockop or her office manager would get back with me, they never did. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect, at the very least, for people to do what they say they will.
