My experience with Dr. Kristen Bachman was deeply disappointing and raised several concerns regarding the quality and professionalism of her services. During sessions, I observed what I felt was a lack of engagement and clinical focus. It appeared that personal distractions, including frequent attention to an Apple Watch, detracted from the therapeutic process. Additionally, I found the use of an iPad and a dog in sessions to be more distracting than therapeutic for my child. While such tools may be beneficial in certain contexts, in this case, they seemed to replace rather than support meaningful clinical work. From a financial and administrative standpoint, I did not receive clear communication regarding billing practices. Charges were made to my credit card without corresponding invoices or itemized statements, which left me unclear on what services were actually rendered. Further, when my attorney subpoenaed Dr. Bachman’s notes, they were minimal and lacked the detail one… might reasonably expect from a licensed practitioner involved in a legal case. This raised questions about documentation standards and the value provided. While Dr. Bachman may be pursuing court-appointed evaluator roles, my experience did not inspire confidence in her qualifications for that responsibility. I encourage prospective clients to conduct thorough research, ask detailed questions about clinical methods, and request clear billing documentation before committing to services.
