Dr. Kristin Louise Lueck, MD

This person is a poor representation of a caring, understanding medical doctor. She refuses to provide the help her patients need. Instead of communicating with her patients, she has her nurses do her bidding. She doesn’t even deserve a one star rating.

I went into the office to see Dr. Lueck because my right arm was suddenly paralyzed for no reason. I was referred to Dr. Lueck for an EMG to see if there was damage to my nerve in my shoulder causing the paralysis. After my appointment I went home and started feeling shortness of breath, tightness in my right chest and extreme pain in my right shoulder. I told my roommate I feel like this doctor punctured my lung with the EMG procedure. I was unable to sleep that night and the symptoms kept getting worse. I emailed the doctor first thing in the morning and she never responded. Told her all my symptoms that I just described. I then called the office and was told the doctor would call me back. That never happened. I finally received a call from the nurse. She listened to my breathing over the phone and told me to drive immediately to urgent care. I drove to urgent care and they did a chest x-ray after waiting several hours. The doctor told me the nurse at Dr. Lueck's office… should have never told me to drive to the Urgent Care that I should have called 911. Once the urgent care doctors viewed the chest x-ray I was immediately transferred by ambulance to the nearest hospital because I had a collapsed lung!! Dr. Lueck punctured my right lung during the EMG procedure!!! I went through immediate surgery to put a tube in my lung and I am still in the hospital until they can remove the tube. I was told my right lung was the size of a walnut before the surgery. Still nothing from Dr. Lueck. When I went back into my Kaiser chart to see if she responded to my initial e-mail it showed she had viewed the email but still no response. I would not recommend anybody going to this doctor. She is heartless!! I would give zero stars but it would not let you submit with zero stars.

I saw this doctor based on her reviews here and was so disappointed. She was not compassionate. She basically read the doctors notes who had seen me prior which I'd like to add had a 1 star rating and said the same exact thing. She also said the 1 out of 5 stars doctor was a 'good doctor.' Instead of treating me, the patient and my symptoms, she went off the prior doctors notes. Very disappointing. The only positive thing about the visit was she had excellent eye contact. The visit was unfortunately a waste of my time and money.

Very attentive during visits and unusually caring.
